Testing The Mettle
#Marines with 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, participate in Marine Littoral Regiment Training Exercise (MLR-TE) at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Jan. 29 to Feb 28, 2023.
MLR-TE is a large-scale, service-level exercise designed to train, develop, and experiment with the 3d MLR as part of a Marine Air-Ground Task Force, led by 3d Marine Division, operating as a Stand-in Force across a contested and distributed maritime environment.
3d MLR and 3d Marine Division will take their refined tactics, techniques, and procedures to exercise Balikatan 2023, where they will train alongside the Armed Forces of the Philippines to enhance their combined capabilities with an important and strategic ally.

Cool your jets, enjoy this part of your life cause you won't ever get nothing like it again especially if you enlist. The USMC isn't going anywhere, it'll be there when you are old enough. I can't say it enough, enjoy this part of your life.

The USMC is preparing to fight China in the Pacific. It won't be a conventional ground war according to the strategists and experts so the USMC is adapting.

The next great war will be fought with mass drone technology. I remember when I first saw a single man operating a fleet of 50 drones back like 10 years ago. All flown in unison by one operator. All I could think of was the military potential. Using AI you could have a single man flying a formation spanning over kilometers wide numbering in the hundreds or even thousands of craft that dynamically shifts to avoid incoming fire and other obstacles. Mass drone tech, both suicide and conventional, will be the deciding weapon. Imagine the great bombing campaigns of the second world war if each pilot was capable of flying 30 planes at once without fear of his own death, and each of his crewmen were also flying 30 planes. The next war will dwarf that shit.

@@Drewzdev Nnnno boot. I actually retired from the fighting Corps in a time where this woke weakness would never have existed. I feel sorry for you younguns. You are in denial. You all never got to know what it was before, now you are just frogs boiling in a pot. Glad and proud I was in when I was, and did what I did with the fighting Marines I was with.
