I was a logistics marine and every time I encountered a grunt I gave them their respect. These mfs live in the suck while I packed their weapons in crates. Most grunts that I got to meet always told me I was like one of the few pogs thwy actually liked cause I knew my place on the battlefield. If you’re pog you’re just a backup, if your infantry you going first bro. Respect.

I am from Russia, but i am against any war. My 2 cents. Every hole in the wall of the buildings is a sniper or gun position. All these windows shooting almost in the past or for noobies. 0:07 always watch the corner of the buildings, they could be mined, or targeted by RPG (you name it) luancher. I am not even talking about air for drones and fpv kamikaze drones, which fast as hell. When nowadays you're clearing the room. On top of everything that you know, all keep in mind that FPV kamikaze drone could fly in the room that you're clearing at fool speed with pack of C4, or 155mm ammo shell. Many people and even soldiers don't see the difference between police building clearing operation and military building clearing operation. Let's say if police do wat they do in warfare the casualties will be higher, and many tactics won't simply work. As we see, sometimes long barrel guns is the problem in tiny apartment buildings. Standing close to windows (Hamas-Israel war) is not a good idea like never. Even if your emeny is from 19th century ammunition wise. Even if your second squad is clearing or has already cleaned the building in front of yours. Jumping over anything, without seeing on what you will land on, not the great idea in my opinion either. Stay safe. Train as clever and wiser as possible.

The coyote tan color of gear allows the user to switch easily from desert or woodland camouflage patterns and does not lock them into one environment.

There's hardly any combat vets left in the Marine Corps anymore. I served 2019-2023 and in the whole battalion there was only a handful of Marines who managed to catch the last bits of action in Afghanistan. Every squad leader and officer I saw carried frontside radios in training. I think your input on the consequences of doing that and what the better options are would be highly valuable to inexperienced junior Marines.

However, the Marine Corps will suffice and succeed. It has a long memory, and efficient at passing down knowledge. But yes, when I look around these days, feels a little lonely realizing, I am “the old combat vet” the new guys talk about. This stinging realization, cuts even deeper, when I realized last week that I have seen, exactly 2 …. Just 2 fellow 03’s since getting out in 2006. Just 2 other grunts ….in 18 years. :/

Great, but we lost In Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan because the ene.y wears civiliN cloths and us guerrilla tactics, I.E.Ds, hidden bombs , and above all the e e.y since Vietnam do ot have Rules of engagement, do no have a Geneva convention rules, only civilized countries fight soldier against soldier Russians vs Ukraine.
