208 temperature is all good. It needs that to be thermally efficient and vaporize and moisture in the oil.

I’m choosing between this and a used hyper 950 sp. priced pretty closely any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Ducati have always run hot, and they don't like slow speeds. I have a Htypeermotard 950SP, and on my way to my mountain rides I have to craw thru traffic. Stop & go puts me in the 218-220F range.

Concerning your Mic issues. Try Purple Panda mics. Pretty cheap and good for in helmet recording.

I Keep watching the reviews on this bike, which says to me I want one. It'd have to be this model here as it's got quick shifter. Don't think they're in UK yet tho!
