I am stuck at 5.0 seconds for my 2017 6 speed gt. looking at a stop the hop kit as my next mod or a steeda h pipe as it easier to bolt on and cheaper lol

Check tire pressures and try using the paddle shifters and short shifting

2016 GT here. Roush catback, flex fuel tune, advance-trac off, continental extreme contact sport 02's, lighter wheels. normal mode (no extra rpm's other than idle) = 4.59 0-60 and 12.63 @ 111 with the Dragy

I see in previous videos your licens plate frame says dams ford. Hows that dealership? I’m looking to upgrade from my svt cobra and i might just go to my local dealership in richmond unless you got recommendations.

Best I got was 4.3 in a completely stock gt, all I did was get larger rims and tires.

I would of thought with the different modes it would be a larger difference

Yeah. It definitely shifts different between the modes but the launch is very similar

@@jesusm2159 no they are separate from the ultimate package. The ultimate adds a few more parts the the starter package. If you check on steedas website they show all the differences

Aloha Bruddah, Appreciate all your reviews and keep up the fine work. I have your twin car down here in So Cal, minus the mods to the rear subframe area. I have already lowered it with the Steeda progressive rate springs and pro action adjustable struts and shocks. What I really want to get rid of is the weird floaty feel or odd lateral wobble/ undulation from the rear end when going around corners. Based on your opinion will the steeda “stop the hop kit” mitigate that? I appreciate any insight and your thoughts in this matter! Many mahalos and stay safe, Jack

The starter kit definitely helps but the little wobble is still there slightly. Im thinking of upgrading the sway bars for that. I've drove a couple with steedas front and rear installed and they definitely make a big difference in the corners. How do you like the pro action shocks? I have them on my list of needs as well

I actually have no comparison because I installed the progressive springs, struts, shocks, steeda rear shock mounts, and bumpsteer kit all on at the same time. I can definitely state the car was completely transformed and hugs the road very well. Just trying to get rid of the rear end undulation. I did end up modifying the original rear shock mounts because the steeda ones make noise and I’m just a little too OCD about noises and NVH. Do you think the BMR rear stuff might work better? Have you had any input from other S550 owners? Many mahalos Jack

@@jackmartz709 a little bit yeah. Most of out roads are decent but the odd one pulls the car around pretty good

You can try to improve your time with the empty gas tank

It does. The power is put down so well that Im having traction issues now because the tires burn out. With a wider or stickier tire you would definitely feel the difference

Mine shifts hard af 2nd to 3rd in sport! The wife has messed up her make up a couple times! Ha ha

Do you think the Steeda stop the hop kit is worth it?

If your not going full out you won't really notice the difference. Im planning on a tune and boost eventually so in my case it will make a big difference down the road. Also on a prepped surface like a drag strip I heard it makes a difference but I havent been able to test it myself yet

@@CanadianCruisin yeaaaa... never had wheel hop on the 15 PP mustang, until i got an ESS supercharger, even tho it makes only 485 torque and 642 hp to tires, the wheel hop honestly was scary bad. stop the hop is the truth let me tell u
