Nice shooting. You can weed out your flyers by numbering each arrow and shooting them in order. Sometimes a certain arrow will always fly off course, so by eliminating the flyers, you'll really tighten your group up.

Great video, always like seeing reviews on less expensive equipment, a lot of which is actually very good quality for lower level archers. I was interested in what you are using for a backstop. Looks very good.

I've only been shooting for a week but do the trick. Probably shot all the arrows a combined 100-200 times, nothing broken, tips come loose a bit so I check every time I pull them out. Might get some loctite for them? I'm just trying to hit my target at this point haha

Good review... I have those very same arrows. (I actually have 3 Lwano recurves as well.) They are great arrows. I bought them 2 yrs ago and only broke one so far. I actually got to know the owner Jack Lwano from buying his bows. He is a great guy and stands behind his products. Anyway, nice review and God bless.

@@hookersbladesforge The original Lwano 60" takedown Recurve bows (I have 2 of them ) are great bows a lot like the Black Hunter bow in performance. I also have the upscale model called the "Wolf bow" 62" which is kinda like the Sage or Spyder XL. I'm not sure if you can get the original Lwano recurve bow, but you probably can get the Wolf bow somewhere.

Nice demonstration for the inexpensive arrows. I have purchased carbon arrows from Amazon and Sportsman Outdoors both under $40 per dozen. I am happy with performance so far. You have a good grouping at 20 yds. Thx for video.

1200 arrows in 3 months is great dude you been shooting a lot! I’ll tell you the only downside about these cheap Amazon arrows is that they are actually not carbon so they’re gonna be very heavy and maybe not quite as durable. The GPI or grains per inch on these particular arrows it’s gonna be about double that of your typical carbon arrow in a similar size. So if you’re new, and you don’t understand how that affects your shot, it’s gonna affect the trajectory of your arrows. Meaning, they won’t shoot his flat. They have a tendency to drop more and longer distances. You’ll have to move your site more for longer shots than you would with a faster, Lighter arrow Also, the spine stiffness needs to be indexed in such a way that they come off of your rest in a consistent fashion with the stiff part of the arrow straight up and down so that the arrow can flex left to right in a consistent way every time you shoot, this will be harder to achieve with fiberglass arrows unless they’re spine index which at $30 they are most likely not

are they any "good"? I'm going to guess they are "better" than no arrows and sitting at home looking at the bow while daydreaming of shooting it ... and for those who are NOT Olympic or professional and high ranked tournament competitors, they are plenty accurate ... moreso than the archer, perhaps ... Are they as "good"/accurate as the $300 per SHAFT top end competition arrows? Probably not ... at least not for target practice ... tho they MIGHT be better for hunting when the fieldpoints are replaced with a broadhead. (Some of the least expensive Amazon arrows do have interchangeable points.) I buy the inexpensive composite arrows, generally with a spine 1 step under the suggested.. I shorten the arrows to 25 inch which increases the spine (I R deformed. my draw length is 23.5 inch.), and install 100+ grain brass inserts. Because of my short draw and resulting slower arrows, I need a heavier arrow, to ensure it don't bounce off the target. (when hunting fixed blade cut on contact broadheads are what I use. Itted be embarrassing if my arrow bounced off the whitetail deer or larger critter. 🙄) I also prefer 125 grain and heavier arrowheads.

Shooting a recurve is great fun! 🏹🎯 you should really be shooting feathers as the plastic vanes will deflect off the riser and cause inaccuracies. If you go to wal mart in January when they put arrows on clearance you can get them for $1 per arrow. Just make sure you get the correct spine for your bow’s weight. Those 500 spine looked great so I’ll assume you shooting around a 45# bow.try 125 grain tips for better results. I was a bow tech for a while and you could try out some small game tips G5 being some of the most reliable and they typically weigh 125 grains. Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆 God Bless 🙏😇

@@hookersbladesforge Your arrows are tumbling in flight, which is why they're vibrating so hard on impact. If they had an appropriate spin, they wouldn't vibrate so much (or at all, discernibly) on impact and your accuracy would be much improved. Fortunately, it's easy to fix by refletching with a different fletch helix.
