I recently had to replace the carburetor on one of those newer MTD 2 stage snowblowers and I’ll tell you those things can be a real pain to deal with. A Tecumseh Snow King usually has only four to five screws and bolts you need to take off to get to the carburetor, but these MTD engines requires you to take off at least 7 bolts, 2 screws, and the plug in for the electric start. Needless to say these engines are a real hassle to deal with and really shows how overcomplicated new MTD equipment is.

Oh yeah, the "powermore" engine By Chongqing rato corporation of China. I know what you're talking about, they are more complicated to get into. I hate those engines. Communist mainland engines powering our machinery, it's sad.
