*for those who want extend gelballs to their limit, you can cut a 0.5 (5-3) ore a 0.7 ( 3-2) (in my case snipersling yellow, but should also work with others simillar) Usually I could only shoot gelballs around 230fps with normal cuts, because they exploded under increasing draw weight, but with those extreme slim cuts the draw was so light that I could draw it near to maxed out, now I can shoot them over 400 fps thats as fast as the strongest and most expensive gelblasters out there

*i just tested a harder version of gelballs, they are designed for gaspistols , because of their hardness i could shoot them with 375 fps with shortdraw (snipersling black 0.7 4-3) and i experienced that gelballs are more accurate in shorter draws and ttf, because they dont get spinned so often by the bands and therefore get influenced by the magnus effect, this setup is even accurate enough to shoot 40mm spinner inside (i was succesfull with up to 12 yards inside and even had a few lucky shots outside at 20 yards) and that setup is also able to penetrate cartboard and very fun to shoot at eachother with friends thank you once again for inspiring to shoot gelballs out of a slingshot they are very cheap and save practice ammo

For those wondering how much they actually wheight, gel blaster ammo is mostly 7-8mm, 7mm would be around 0.18g and 8mm would be around 0.27g

He might get a little frustrated with them bursting on the pouch, proper pouch release plays a big role when it comes to slingshot accuracy, and they are a bit on the fragile side. I would suggest airsoft plastic ammo or even small spherical candy such as jawbreakers. They are on the harder side but they will fly straighter. Appreciate the comment 🙂

Well this is more of a shooting test, to test accuracy not impact damage. Didn’t really focus on that as they are made of gel, however a close up of the gel balls impacting would be cool, especially in slow motion. Thanks for stopping by. ✌️
