You know, you are not too far off with the mud comment. I’m 45 now and always had freckles. When I was a teenager, I once had a boyfriend tell me that I looked like I had a pile of …mud…(not the word he used) thrown at my face through a screen door. I broke up with him the next day but the damage was done. I was embarrassed by my freckles after that comment. A few years later, when I met my husband, he said he loved my freckles and from that day on, I stopped being embarrassed. 26 years later, he still says he loves my cute nose with my freckles ❤

as someone with real freckles i think the problem with fake freckle products is that freckles are never really that dark! mine anyway are more yellowy brown if anything than the dark brown that brand make! Also freckles are literally every not just the nose and cheeks so like just having them in that area also just shows that they aren’t real? They still look beautiful on you though!

I don’t have facial freckles and I’m pretty fair but I do have freckles this dark all over me, as well as darker moles on my nose, neck, arms etc. I really like the dark ones! But I think most people who have them on their face or body have much lighter ones so sometimes the darker faux freckle products can seem off. But it seemed realistic to me since I have so many that color. I bet if you’re not used to it, it’ll throw you off though! I thought they looked cute on her regardless❤

I’m fair and the freckles on my nose are darker where the melanin is more concentrated but on the outer area of my face ( upper cheek) they are lighter like a strong tea colour

Freckles very much cover under eyes even eye lids it's when ppl only do the nose look fake. Freckles cover the face

Nope. Freckles are different from person to person. Some got them on their forehead only or the nose.

See freckles are different from people to people like I only have freckles on my cheeks but they're barely noticeable, have loads on my arms though. Yet my partner has freckles all over his face then our son just has freckles on his cheeks, nose and round his mouth and on his lips. But I do agree they did look more natural than the regular faux freckles.

As someone who has loads of freckles in the summer but misses them in winter, I SWEAR by the L’Oreal root cover spray in dark blonde for my freckles. You just really lightly press on the nozzle and it kind of spits them at you. It’s a good idea to practice on the back of your hand a few times to get the hang of it but they always come out perfect for me because they vary in size, shape and placement like real freckles! And they’re so easy to press on to make them a little lighter. I can’t do my makeup without it anymore, I love doing it when I’ve used a skin tint to make my skin look less makeup-y!

That is such a good and valid point about the benefit pencil I’ve never really taken notice to how much product you get for the price but that’s a very high price for a small amount of product I’m genuinely shocked by that!!!!!

I bought that ELF CC cream about an hour before watching this video 😂 I’ve just tried it, I really love it, I’ve had it on an hour or so now and I really like how it looks, it seems to be holding up well so far!

So I have natural freckles, which are all but gone in winter lol. I love the concept of the product, but while freckles do come in all shapes, sizes, ect, the applicator on that is just a bit much. I use a pen or a gel to get mine when I feel the need to add them. If the applicator was more like a pen, longer and thinner, I think it would work much better. Blend em out right away too tho, cause those products usually dry fast as heck no matter what

I love that colour changing blush - might have to get one of those… I love those new NYX lip balms - I’ve got the bright pink and clear ones. They are fab!

As a freckle girly, freckles can be everywhere, I have a couple under my eyes and then lighter ones on my forehead but my more prominent ones are on my forehead and my arms of all places. Faux-freckles when done well are super cute but they generally focus on the nose area

I am naturally very freckled and I do have freckles around my eyes and even on my eyelids lol. so no worries. I think the giveaway is that every freckle has the same size and shape. They need to make a tool with different sizes and shapes of bristles

Soph, we’re about the same age and don’t worry, you are not alone with those selfies 😂 I always saw my friends and older cousins do it so I totally have photos like that as well. You were so cute back then though!!! Loved this video, also I wore actual yellow blush back in June and was surprised by how much I liked it. I did a glowy yellow cheek with some warm bronzer and contour, it looked so nice! I would do it again, but I also like more creative out there makeup on a regular basis so it’s probably not for everyone haha. I think that yellow ph blush is adorable but I have never been a fan of those shades of pink on me anyways, I used to have a Mac lip balm like that and it was such a ridiculous shade of fuschia on my fair skin lol! This was fun to watch, hope you and James had a happy V-Day ❤ also I see people are claiming that freckles are never so dark, but I can confirm I have a ton on my body, lol. I think it’ll throw you off though if you aren’t used to that, especially since a lot of people do have lighter brown ones! lol about being mistaken for younger by border guards… they can see your DOB on your passport! I also look young for my age and also still being spotty as an adult kinda adds to the effect I think. Laura Lee tried the freckle thing and put it in the product very lightly so all of the spiky pieces did not have product on it and did 1 place on her face at a time and blended immediately

And working from 16!)....but I'm 64 now, and its nice that people don't believe you!!! 😊

I’ve been using that product for my faux freckles for years and I love it… I would suggest a light hand and work a little at a time and tap out very quickly once applied, that’s what I do anyway and works for me. They do last all day that’s for sure but I usually spritz with a setting spray too for even more longevity! Another awesome video… honest reviews, a rarity these days, and I appreciate that 👏🏻… happy valentines! 💘
