Exactly my thought. Go get a faraday cage, put sizable hole on it, and keep adding thickness. Cheap and efffective video to make. Enjoy.

Sub Gigahertz can easily pass through walls. It is, however, attenuated more quickly. 10cm of lead, 2m of concrete, 3m of wood/sheet rock, or 100m of air.

I have never seen it on the temple. For my car, I put it underneath my chin with the direction of radio travel facing my chin and open my mouth. That's how I was shown and your mouth shape acts as a dish almost culminating the signal.

There is a much smaller one from Rabbit Labs. I wanted to try with a large antenna. In my previous video I used a small antenna with similar results.

Did you find the SMA antenna is better than the classic rods? Also they have cheap antenna amplifiers you could try. Maybe it will increase the range. It may hurt the signal when up closer though.

It can't really do anything with credit cards, the flipper firmware doesn't let you view the information

No lmao that's not how it works. This cannot do anything with NFC (Debit/Credit Cards). This is an external modifier for the Flipper's SubGhz feature. Extended range on the devboard also isn't that good either.

What if you hold it up to your chin for more distance like a remote car key?

Use that one. I got two antennas from Rabbit Labs and decided to try the bigger one. In my previous video I used a shorter antenna and got similar results.

😏-no one to assist you huh? Generally radio signals are line of sight. That means free of obsticles.

I've been able to send it up to 60 ft with no external antenna 🤷‍♂️
