5" rinfasciatured cylinder shells, each with 18 1-1/2" comets, testing 6 different Spiderweb-type compositions.

Beautiful, ned! I really like the spiderweb titanium and the spider willow composition. What mesh size of titanium do you use? I have some 100-200 sponge titanium i just picked up. Testing that in a 6 inch im making right now for our shoot on memorial day weekend. I made them cut stars with a standard Tiger Tail formula but modified it slightly with some 40-80 mesh sherical aluminum and some 100-200 sponge titanium. As always, great video!

Were any of those with Bill Ofca's ball milled charcoal stars? Not necessarily milled with bocce balls in a cement mixer as he did, but just any kind of ball milling? I've found they do live up to their touted advantage -- allowing a greater proportion of charcoal to be used, hence more tailing, for a given burn speed -- but not sure they're worth the work unless you're set up for routine ball milling of BP comp. Were any with lampblack either as the major fuel or an additive? Been there too, not sure they're worth the trouble either. How about with briquette charcoals? I haven't done systematic comparisons, though, never worked in quantity to make such comparisons feasible.
