The creepers could walk on the barriers, because they are not looking for how visible the blocks are, they are looking for the hitbox. Hitboxes are not visible anyways, so technically the creeper was walking on invisible matter the entire time...😎🤔

When doing these IQ tests you also have to remember that the mobs see these obstacle courses as just one big line. mobs see partial blocks as whole. So it's not the most fair putting part blocks. But it's still fun watching so I ain't complaining.
