Ohh wow that sea fire radar will be way too close to be a radar station or a big 1 on fremm to make a sea base radar station

Ce fond sonore est inadéquate ! L'époque va changer. De menaces asymétriques le contexte va très vite laisser la place à la meurtrière haute intensité.

They could put two SAAB X band radars rotating at ninety degree's to each other under a dome on top of the super structure. Nearly 100% coverage in two bands at all times then. Having calculated the time with two radars one on top of the other rotating at the same speed start in a cross configuration the time without radar coverage is about one second. That twin rotating radar system can be used for anything not just ships. 😈😈😈😉😉😉

Why? When a 4 panel AESA is better? Fewer moving parts also means less maintenance ;)

@@lordtemplar9274 Really idiot A four panel Aesa is twice as expensive and far harder to retrofit.... The dual rotating can be used all over the world on every type of single face rotating radar..... 😂😂😂🤩🤩🤩

@@markjmaxwell9819 you are the idiot. First you do not know the costs so stop pretending thag you do. Secondly they want to fit a radar with best in class performance since the FDI will provide radar coverage for the CDG. Pretty sure Thales and the French Navy know a bit more about radars than you, and this is what they chose to design and equip FXI with. Now jog on muppet
