I agree but only if hes not planning to tow it, twice the weight of what he was looking at in the video. Couldn’t imagine doing 20mph down the road in anything with smaller wheels/tires than a 908 cus even that is rough riding at times. I’ve never tried one of these smaller loaders with the skinny arm spacing and I’m curious how it is compared to a 908 or something similar. I feel like when using forks looking between the lift arms and center curl cylinder is a huge advantage compared to this manitou/Wacker style where you are looking to the outside of the lift arms

I was curious when he was making his turn does the tractor have a zero radius will it turn into its own tracks it kind of didn't look so sometimes that is a nice ability it's funny though to me that the skid steer world hasn't come up with a oscillating track system on their machines and even cooler to have a crab mode now it's nice to drive a tractor when you're high up you have more visual but I've always loved the skid steer you have a lower clearance lower center of gravity you can seem to go into more places with a skid steer but yes you tear everything up underneath it today I was using a little ditch witch ride on skid steer unfortunately I don't know the model because the stickers on it have been peeled off but that little machine made a two-day job by hand and wheelbarrow a one-day job and the funny thing is is that the bucket on the machine would probably take two and a half scoops to fill up your standard wheelbarrow of material we like to mount our wheelbarrows it saves at least 10 less trips I don't know if that was a purchase or a lease or a lender but can't wait to see it in action

This is the next generation loader (due to emissions) similar to the old Gehl AL540.The difference between a Cast loader and this type is that the Cast articulates with no oscillation, which is less sketchy . The Manitou or Gehl articulates and oscillates which can flip over carrying a heavy load if there is a pot hole or high spot on one side. I would tell a novice operator "keep the load low and slow" on uneven terrain.
@Miniloaders
Жыл бұрын
It goes a bit both ways. Front steer type loaders (Avant, Cast, Vermeer etc) can tip over as well because they have the rigid frame. Giant loaders made a nice video on this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oaOL3Nhmqt2WeKQ.html& (Giant Loaders G1500 comparison to Bobcat L28)
@Porty1119
Жыл бұрын
The Homestake Mine in South Dakota had issues with center-oscillating EIMCO 921 loaders, they tended to tip on rough ground. An oscillating rear axle bolster is preferable as it doesn't affect the machine's center of gravity nearly as much.
@almangrant7358
Жыл бұрын
@@Miniloaders The reality of the physics is when carrying a load the ridgid joint will be more stable. The oscillating joint would be be better for digging or pushing. Giant does have the oscillation damper option calle Stabillo to remedy inertia caused by radical terrain variations. There is a video from Giant.

What size push box would you recommend on that unit?
I’d suggest a John deer loader depending on the size you want we had a 244j it was great

I thought the kubota you got last winter was the new loader. Are you getting another one?
When he talked about the supply of units that was a major red flag for me
With the restricted import of these units, I would be concerned about availability of repair parts.

No. Never trust a salesman wearing a suit and tie. A salesman wearing yellow crocs is keeping it real in my book 👊👍
@Miniloaders
@Porty1119

The Homestake Mine in South Dakota had issues with center-oscillating EIMCO 921 loaders, they tended to tip on rough ground. An oscillating rear axle bolster is preferable as it doesn't affect the machine's center of gravity nearly as much.
@almangrant7358
