Our one is still going strong. The only thing I had to do is change the carb a couple of months ago (10 pound on Amazon). It's a big banged up from all the use, but for the money it's very good value. You'll learn a lot about carbs with this bike as they can be hit or miss so I recommend a carb upgrade as soon as the stock one starts acting up. I tried fixing the carb but was a waste of time. Easier and really cheap just to get a new one.

It can be restricted for slow speeds but still I'd wait another year or so

Im 10 i have had no icsperince with dirt bikes should i get when and if so were can i ride i live next to a beach but the sand is mushy

hi, I think you're too tall for it. 4'6 or 4'7 8 and 9 yr olds are perfect for these though. but hey, if you're only gonna use it for practice, why not? it's cheap and okay for beginners, but if you're already an expert I recommend you (or your parents) buy bigger and more popular ones.

Perfect bike for that age and great learner bike. The bike has throttle restriction also. Just be aware that you’ll need to do small adjustments to the carb and give it a clean every couple of hours of usage to keep it running right.

@@logierollz1 I’ve a carb for the bike out in the shed somewhere. Got the recommendation from one of the forums . I’ll see if I can find it and let you know the name of it. I’m still using the stock one and teaching the kids how to clean out the carbs

The carb on the bike I got didn't come tuned, so would bog out. Once I adjusted the idle screw it ran perfect and still does. I give the carb a deep clean after every 3 hours usage because the jets are prone to getting fouled from the tiniest bit of dirt in the fuel. I'm going to upgrade the carb to a performance one and put an inline fuel filter from the tank to the carb which will save the hassle of cleaning the carb often

Probably too small for you. For taller people your next point would be a ten10, stomp pit bike etc... But they cost a good bit more money.

Yea I thought it would fall apart after a few hours riding but it's a solid wee bike with over 30 hours on it now. Now the kids are hooked on bikes and are wanting the expensive ones 🙈

Sounds like there's too much air in the mixture if its popping and not getting proper revs. Deffo need to check your carb out. Try adjust the screw with the spring which is on the carb in small increments first. I had an issue with my fuel tap (the black one) above the carb when its in the on position it bogged out. I then turned the tap about half way between the on and off position and it worked perfect. The carbs on these little 50cc bikes are tiny, so any small thing can cause a problem. You could also upgrade the carb itself to a 15mm carb which will run much better and faster and costs about 15 pound. 2 stroke engines are almost indestructible so its always 99% of the time the carb, so start there.

Yea and that's why most stuff is crap quality compared to several decades ago.

The 50cc 2 stroke bikes like this are twice as fast as the same bike with a 40cc 4 stroke. They do 20km while the 2 stroke will do 40km! And it's cheaper!!!

What make is it? All these bikes have the exact same CAG 49cc engines. It probably has a better 19mm carb which is something I'm going to be upgrading to in the next couple of weeks.
