    Excellent video with a solid concept in preventive maintenance. Do you have to discard the filter If you inadvertently overfill your tank at the fuel dock and the filter gets backwashed with fuel?

    Thank you, Glen. Yes, should you ever overfill your tank and contaminate the desiccant with fuel, the recommendation is to discard and refill with new desiccant.

    I realize the video was posted sometime ago but my question has to do with the fuel inlet volume. With a large fuel capacity of long range trawlers it can take hours to refuel primarily due to the small size of the tank air vents regardless of the inlet size or pump capacity. It would seem to me that the addition of this product in line would further reduce the air volume and further slow down the refueling process. What are your comments or experience with this potential problem?
