I have seen this video a few times over the last 10 years and it always amazes me to see a video recording from 1968

When i bought the jimi hendrix live at woodstock dvd, it came with a bonus dvd. Some guy had a portable sony open reel video recorder on stage and filmed it on black and white videotape... Its the only video footage i seen of woodstock.. Like a different experience..

I have a copy of this that someone sent me years ago, it's many generations removed from this version though!

Is it also strange to say as well that the distortion on the picture makes it look a bit creepy too? A bit of a shame some of these early domestic recordings are only preserved in these optical conversions with picture distortion and a fair bit of overscan. I guess it was either that or risking losing the footage forever though.

Don't worry. Electronic conversions also have distortions - lots and lots of videotape dropout, usually!

+Knightyknight72 Which means, if what the Test Card Circle website lists is correct, the latest this can be from is February 1968!

Does anyone know where I can find the full songs? I'm aware the names for them are "Les Rues de Paris" and "Marie Helene" from the tape "Fury" but I can't seem to find it when I search for it.

I'm very late but the first one is Les Rues de Paris and the second is Marie Helene, both composed by Roger Denoncin. They're part of the BBC's Fury test card tape.
