Testament is such a great F ing band!!! Time has proven that. I'll never understand why they never got as big as Metallica or Megadeth for example. Hindsight is 20/20 and I can definitely say they were way BETTER than Metallica and I'm an old school Metallica fan (don't care for anything after And Justice... even that album took some getting used to.) But I digress... F ing TESTAMENT!!! Those of us who know...KNOW.

I'm gonna take you to a place far from here No one will see us, watch the pain as it disappears No time for anger, no time for despair Won't you come with me there's a room for us there This innocent beauty, my words can't describe This rebirth to purity brings a sullen tear right to your eyes No time for anger, no time for despair Please let me take you 'cause I'm already there I'm so alone, my head's my home I'll return to serenity Rhyme without reason is why children cry They see through the system that's breeding them just so they die So please let me take you and I'll show you the truth Inside my reality we shared in our youth I'm so alone, my head's my home And I feel so alone, you know at last I'll return to serenity Now that I've taken you to a place far from here I really must go back, close your eyes and we'll disappear Won't you come with me, salvation we'll share Inside of my head now there's a room for us there I'm so alone, my head's my home And I feel so alone, you know at last I'll return to serenity

I am Louie Clemente's daughter and my dad was always on tour when I was really little and after I was born. So I saw him mostly on holidays, bdays and for the summer until he retired. But seeing his talent as I've grown up has been great. As an adult now it hits different. Greg is the mastermind to the concepts and most lyrics and so much more. But the band as a whole is the true definition of manifestation. My mom told ne she watched at 18 yrs old Testament band members manifested everything to do with the band. From choosing members, writing music, lyrics and getting signed and touring/Headlining. Never stop manifesting in your life. I've manifested everything great in mine.

I remember seen this video on "Musique Plus" back then and realizing that Alex Skolnick was not in the said video. I was like "WTF man"?!! (No disrespect to Glen Alvelais, awesome guitar player btw) I've learned a bit later that he had left the band, i was really devastated!! My favorite band EVER! Kinda like when old folks learned that "the Beattles" had just split up... I love you Alex, you're a true genius!

The original solo is one of my favorites of all time. So much passion. The structure of it and the way it builds, the structure. Amazing. I think of that solo whenever I play any slow song.

This song has great meaning to me. I am addicted to girls but back in 2008 didn't know it yet. My first girlfriend dumped me and I fell into a crisis and in that state of despair one day I got into a record store and bought the Signs Of Chaos compilation and listened to this song which helped me to soothe the pain for that moment (thank God years later I found help in a support group and my relationships have improved greatly, still have some issues with that department of my life tho).
