RIP GRE VOCAB
So happy to watch another vocabulary quiz 🤩 Thank youuuuuu 🥰
this is great!! Thanks!!
nice point for tangential to memorize. Loved this series, I thought another series could be usual GRE pair words for SE questions
Mercurial can also come from element Mercury, its pretty susceptible to heat ,like with minor change of temp , it changes its volume. That's why it's used in thermometers. This could be said for a person's mood. I love you Greg.

If it helps anyone, when I see 'mercurial,' I think of Deadpool and how his mood and personality is always unstable and unpredictable. It also helps that he is known to be a mercenary so both mercurial and mercenary have the 'merc-' in common.
The best vocab intro so far.
you actually caught me with your trap answer for the first time...."uncommunicative". Very funny!
If I recognize a trap answer and don't fall for it, I always let out a "F you Greg" while I'm grading myself. It makes me feel good that I'm getting better at these.
Really great job done ...thank you so much... and plz upload more video
Great vocabulary .
Got 24/30. Thanks Greg.
If you play League of Legends you'll never forget what mercurial means. The item Mercurial Scimitar (builds from Quicksilver Sash) instantly removed all crowd control effects on you. So, your crowd control status is mercurial i.e. subject to sudden changes.
Hey! Could you take do my analysis as you did on sai about as I scored 311; 148 in Verbal and 163 in Quants
18 , second attempt 23 assailed=criticized , contravene , plaintive, denounced , canonized , quiscent.
You can remember plaintively by the word plaintiff. A plaintiff is a person who brings a case against another and he/she does it because he/she is SAD with other person
Holy shit! This is the first time I was able to score 30/30. What an amazing day!!
Ive come a long way. I know every word in that intro. congrats me lol
As a Portuguese, I feel like there are so many words that just come naturally, as we use them in our language often e.g. ire, benevolent, affront, etc. Just have to watch out for the false friends :)

Yeah, I'm Spanish and as "latin" people we are, we have some advantage here.
I heard all your videos about vocab in your channel Do these videos have all vocab questions which GRE get it in its exams ?
easy way to remember mercurial is similar to word mercury, it is very fluid
Some periodic table elements have "inium" at the end. Aluminum is weird
At Q20, you said I don't know if I got anybody (trap answer, uncommunicative) -- Well, you got me man :D

i remember mercurial because geminis are ruled by mercury, and they're stereotypically volatile

GRE questions are not like that. They rather rely on context. These sentences are decontextualized. They can’t be in the GRE!

Well, the dude's in the top 1% of all the test takers so I guess he knows what's on the test pretty well.

These questions just test vocabulary that would appear on the GRE. They’re not actual questions that would appear on a GRE.

The point is that, if you know the word without context, it's much easier during the exam where they give you context.
