I love this updated version of vocabulary as it helps to retain more words in the memory with ease. Thank you!
This is my favorite type of vocab quiz. The extended commentary makes every word much easier to remember.
This was very informative. I love the references and anecdotes. This will definitely help with retention. Another great video.
Your sense of humor is killing me… in a good way that is. Thanks for the chuckles.
It's amazing how you're not just a bookie, you are so well rounded!
28/30, also leaned prefix like frac(breaking, cracking), per (basically means through) limpid=clear, cogent the easier word always have multiple definitions, color=influnce, compromise=weaken, involved=complicated
Hi Greg, thanks for this updated version, really enjoyed and it helped a lot to remember.
Thanks Matt. I have been practicing your vocabulary test. Very useful.
Thanks for taking the time and effort. Much appreciated:)
Loved it 💫 Thank you so much for taking the time to do some research on those fancy words and for adding images/videos to the commentary section-highly appreciated🌞 I learn GRE words by either linking the meaning of the words, the “looking” (how it is written) and/or the pronunciation (my own version) of the words with a person I know, a thing, or an experience I have had. In addition, there are many words that are spelled out and pronounced very similar to the Spanish translation of the words; therefore, if I know the word in Spanish I know the meaning in English as well🙏🏻 ( e.g, lethargic =letárgico , abhor=aborrecer, perilous=peligro ( a very common word for Spanish speakers)etc. Word mocking example: “Chivalrous” Spanish translation: caballerosidad I remember the meaning of that word by thinking that in Spanish, being respectful is related with the word ‘caballo’ (horse) but when I see the English version (chivalrous) I immediately know that in English they see the ‘chiva’, female goat, as respectful. Just giving ideas 💡 to GRE students You can use your own language as a learning tool 🔨 I think that learning words by the dictionary definition should be the last option 🧐-at least for me. I still use the dictionary though, don’t get me wrong ✍🏻
Thanks for this Greg! What a guy
Thank you, every minute is gold
this commentary is WAY better, thank you so much greg!!!!!! :D
awesome work man, really helpful wish i found this out sooner!!
Thanks for the anecdote. I have my test tomorrow. Thought of going through the vocab tests today.
@Greg Matt, awesome work. I like your explanation. I like your videos. You have my gratitude.
Thank you man... could not be more helpful and informative
It is an improvement. The words stick better and stay in memory longer. I am feeling good and my instinct is telling me I am doing well. I impute this feeling and the increase in my vocabulary knowledge to your videos. Thank Gregmat.

Hey there while "impute" which means to "give credit" can be correct it is generally used in a more negative sentence for example 'The manager imputed the company's failure to the want of professionalism among his employees '.
Sir like all of your video, its very informative and helpful. Thanks to create such of videos. I hope I will get atleast 310+ score for my Gre exam.
Love this format
Shout out for these new Prolific illustrative format.
I will never forget the word 'Churlishly' although I'm pretty sure im gonna chuckle if I read it on my test now 🙈
I relish your videos. Thanks Greg Mat
Very helpful, thanks for creating............
Thanks!
Great job
best improvement!!!
If you want some tips on how to enhance recall through the audio format I recommend listening to 1 or 2 of Victor prep podcasts. The way he talks about each word is streamlined and optimized for later recall.

These videos are great. Thank you. Choice D on #7 is tortuous not torturous - conceptually correct, incorrect pronunciation.
thank youuuuuuu much bettterrrrr
I love you!!
Got 27/30. Great video indeed
If I learnt all the vocabulary like this I would get a 170 on the test. Thanks Greg this was extremely helpful!

Rapace means bird of prey in Italian so that's how I remember it :) Limpido means clear in Italian and we usually associate it with water: acqua limpida. Ah and "drol" in Dutch means funny so that helps too.

This is dope!
29/30 (: Started noticing your traps 👀
I had the same background thought for the word Fractious as you do, bast on the word Fracture or Fraction but I chose Diffuse cuz I thought hey... if you fracture something you spread it around so it gotta be diffuse lol

I feel like diffuse makes sense too.

28/30---YAY
This was travail compared to those that antedated this test... 21 out of 30 so I guess I need to put more effort as I'm hoping to achieve 325.

29/30 Verbal aka Keyser Soze got me.
30/30 2nd attempt
Again 28 Alhamdulillah!
Useful improvements, especially images help a lot with associations. I'd suggest to avoid mentioning the false and common difinitions: 1) unnecessary info stiks as well and cause more confusion 2) to save time. Thanks and good luck.

The false definitions are one of the most common traps on the GRE verbal section. Important to be aware of them.

I think you confused tortuous with torturous, didn't you?

I think I put tortuous as the answer choice, not torturous. I commented that many people confuse them. I don’t think I did though.
won't clandestine also be suspicious?
C'mon! Forrest Gump is the most famous limp.
