Thanks, GregMat. Your videos are edifying. I highly appreciate. The music is cacophonous though.
20/30 . Constantly getting 20 since the last 3 tests. I need to focus more on vocab definitely. Thanks greg!
@GregMat : Lol. Great stuff!! I liked when you said that you can't pronounce 10% of the words on there. I haven't seen 50% of these words anywhere. I have never heard any of my professors during my college journey use any of these words. This is a test for lexicographers, or linguists. You've been doing this for a while, so these words are second nature to you!! Great stuff though and still learning!!
I enjoy these vocabulary videos a lot. Thank you 🙏🏻
It was a little bit difficult this time. Thanks for the upload!
getting harder . love the challenge, thanks
27/30 for the past 3 tests, I fall for those tricks 😅. Thanks a lot for these 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for your effort, sir!! I really appreciate it.
These videos are really good!
starting to see themes in GRE vocabulary :)
Thanks again Greg! 23/30
26/30. thanks a bunch, Greg!
26/30 -> Made many mistakes this time Obviate -> Prevent (this was a silly one) Sagacious -> I knew this was wise, but went for experienced instead of shrewd. Idk why shrewd always sounds -ve to me Conjectural -> didn't know the meaning of speculative hence couldn't answer Flamboyant -> animated means "full of life"!! This sounds fine in retrospect now as animated movies are just 'lively, energetic' pictures 😁😁
Thank u for sharing the verbal learning experiences❤
Thank you very much!
15/15 Thanks for the video!
26/30 thanks Greg!
27/30 thank you so much
Thanks bruv!
i knew decadent meant declining and extravagant but not depraved. Where did you find that meaning?
@salendranikitha3697

Yes. Depraved is more inclined towards immoral activities whereas decadent is indulging in luxury or being an epicurean. @greg can u pls look into this.
29/30 almost perfect!
Love these vocab quizzes. I’m struggling to accept decadent as depraved rather than in decline. I’m finding everywhere I look the definition describes decadent as in decline..
29/30!
Remember mundane via Monday is always a DULL day for me
28/30 :)
Lowest score so far 13 2nd attempt: 18 Not a tremendous change but atleast it's progress :)
28/30, i opted for malevolance with skullduggery
19/30, really tough
26/30 challenging nice
and also Question 13 ousted, I think "out" means "oust " also
Hello, I think in question one "diminish" fits the sentence better than "prevent", though I know prevent is a synonym of obviate but diminishing the risk of something sounds somehow more apt than prevent the risk of something given obviate makes something unnecessary.

could someone tell me why sagacious cannot mean experienced and why that is not the best answer? Thanks!
❤❤❤
he sounds so cute..when he said the word ousted

Hehhe
20/30 :(
24/30 obviates,perfidy,decadent,skulduggery, sanguine , nettlesome
16
I got 24/30 however, I believe the Obviate would fit better in the first sentence with the meaning "diminish" as obviate means to make something unnecessary

In the GRE context it usually means to "do away with" from what I understand.
For 8th question, decadent also means self indulgent or spoiled so I was tricked by that one
Evanescence is the best XD
23/30 9/08/22
25 again
Decadent isn't extravagant?
I think skulduggery is single "L"
@gregmat8036

Looks like both are acceptable
decadent literally means decline as in descend. it is also used to mean self-indulgent. I completely dont agree with this answer
Greg, this one has very poor video quality! It was pretty hard to read!
