The Test and Itchen in Hampshire are two of the most iconic chalk streams in the world.
Now the Angling Trust's Water Quality Monitoring Network - a key part of our Anglers Against Pollution campaign and supported by Orvis UK - will be carrying out regular testing on 12 rivers across the Test, Itchen and Meon catchments, thanks to amazing support from 45 volunteers from the Test & Itchen Association and the Watercress & Winterbournes Partnership.
Over time, the data gathered will highlight the various pollution sources blighting the rivers and enable us to address them either through campaigning or practical habitat improvements.
