Test flying the Beech Bonanza G36 in Microsoft Flight Simulator
A quick flight in the G36 Beech Bonanza in Microsoft Flight Simulator - flying a circuit, and then playing with the G1000 - trying out autopilot modes, and navigating via GPS and VOR stations around Santa Barbara.
Great little aeroplane, and it's STOCK with the simulator!

I bought flight sim just because i really wanted to fly this plane
What an absolute pleasure to watch. Thank you for the great video. I typically fly Cessnas and this was a nice tutorial on the step up to a faster aircraft. It’s been a pleasure flying this bonanza too.
I've flown this from Southern Italy through France and into Germany in MSFS. It's a great plane with good speed.
Fantastic Video. A friend and I are just getting started in MSFS, This helped answer so many questions for the AP.
Great info. Thx. Getting back into the sim and Cessna is fun but now to move up a bit. Very helpful !
Is my favorite aircraft on MsFs.
Great videos also love the one in St Barts. Great scenery and approach. It’s got me thinking about using Little navmap Many thanks
Just a tip about inserting the letters, there's a little icon to the right of the input which, if you click it , allows you to type the letters in from your keyboard, much easier than rolling through the alphabet with mouse wheel. You have to click the switch off to enter as per normal . Hope that makes sense. This is true for all aircraft with the G1000. And btw, this is the basic stock version of the aircraft in MSFS 🙏
Congratulation. I love your vídeo !
Good video, great little plane, however I also fly it with the improvement mod which gives it a much more realistic flight model.
Fantastic video Thankyou
I like the Beach Craft Barron.
I had a friend who lost his life while piloting a G36 over Missouri. Two of his friends died with him. He was flying an IFR nighttime route to Indiana without weather radar. A controller out of KC failed to warn him of a storm ahead in a conversation 11 minutes before he disappeared from radar. The FAA contended they had no legal obligation to mention the storm. But an earlier controller up north had rerouted his flight plan further south because of the storm. I think about 18 million was on the table in lawsuits. I don't know how it ended but I heard there was a settlement prior to a judgement so the FAA must have given in. He was a lawyer, and his friends were a medical doctor and the HEAD of Indiana drug enforcement. A fourth declined the week-end hunting trip citing safety concerns. Lucky guy.
A good rule of thumb with any aircraft, dont turn on the avionics master switch until after the aircraft has started as it has alot of delicate instruments that could get damaged from the volt surge of starting an engine
I love the G36! However, I only fly it with the Improvement Mod or the Turbo Mod. The mods are unique so that both the normally aspirated and turbo aircraft exist separately in the simulator.
I fly it.. I love it.
Very Good
Excellent video on the basics of flying the G36 in MSFS. I always use Little Nav Map as my moving map, excellent for flying on a computer. Using the MFD map adds realism I guess, but I like the info available from LNM. Great video for fly along and learn. BYW, video resolution very low. Nothing on G1000 readable except on close-ups. Can you fix this. I cannot find a fix on my end.
hiya, so this is my next step up the aircraft ladder , quick question, why was the AP flashing red on your approach even after you had disabled it? it did it for a while rather than a few seconds when you turnit off normally?
Why not try the Turbo mod. It flies MUCH better than either the default or the "improvement" mod. It flies flawlessly and is very fast!
