I love it I ve in Shindaiwa version..less power than stihl 261 or husqy 550xp, but this 501sx is lighter..affordable...and don't stop ever...echo/shindaiwa is a very very good brand...personal opinioni from Italy

wich oleo macs are not made in china ? because italian mades are great but china made are shit
I use the narrow kerf 1.3mm chain with a 16"/40cm bar on mine, brilliant saw, light, balanced and fast, full bar length through oak is effortless.

By the way his saw sounds, it sounds choked up like stock. My 4910 is muff modded, carb tuned great, and chain fresh sharpened, and it is a beast! No porting or anything. It gained about 1k-2k rpm in the cut and the throttle response is faster than a top fuel dragster. These saws are greatly put down with EPA regs, but with some tinkering, you can make them quick as a bee!
550 varvar absolut inte ut ... dom bluddrar och bluddrar
I own a Makita version. Very annoying on cold start

You wrong. Makita is made by Dolmar. Not Shindaiwa/Echo
