    @@CarSceneKoreathe Korean automobile, where shall I start, I landed in Korea on June 8th, 1969, I was 17 years old at the time, and it was my first time away from home. The Korean car wasn't much to look at at the time. Tour number 2, the Korean car little improvement from 1969 to 1972. Tour number 3, begins in 12/1975, The Korean car a Chevrolet looks much better than the 1972 models. I see changes and I like what I am seeing. If the Republic of Korea ever imports an automobile to America, I am going to buy one; and I did in 2019 a Red Kia Sportage AWD. Thank you, Korea! Love you always, Rudi!

    Correction 9:16 GV80 does not use 8spd wet DCT. I must’ve been confused with e-LSD and got mixed up.

    I really like the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. It is beautiful inside and out. Because I live in the country, I think I would choose a green exterior color. Very happy you brought your lovely wife DumA for this video. A lot of ladies like to hear comments on vehicles from other gals. She also adds some class to the vehicle. Please tell her thank you for me. The car drives like it is on rails. You barely have to move the steering wheel to keep it going straight. Nice a quite which is pleasing. Thank you both for that fun Santa Fe review. Have a happy day!

    Thoroughly enjoyed this review. You're so right about it being not too big like the Palisade. I hope Hyundai adds double glass to the rear windows in the US. The current generation only has it on the front. My favorite color is the Pebble Blue. 🙂

    Great job, on the review. My wife would make the same face during an acceleration test! Will the second row feature cooled seats in the Calligraphy trim? I wish Hyundai would give America the softer ride they tune for Korea.

    Thanks for checking the door glass for acoustic laminated windows! I asked you about this after one of your earlier videos. I am sorry to hear that the 2.5l powertrain is rather lethargic. We are supposed to get the same powertrain here in the US. Any chance you can get your hands on a 5-seater??

    Great video. Very real. I've been a Ford Explorer guy forever. My 2022 Explorer will disappoint me from time to time. I am really keeping eyes on this vehicle.     No clue, asap is the best I can tell you. With new Santa Fe and Sorento, too many vids on the plate atm 🥲 In a nutshell, the PE EN is about two things: SACC(Smart Active Cruise Control) & Softer suspension.

    I also thought that there is nothing else to better with the Elantra N, but driving the EN PE, there were plenty of room for improvement. This isn't just me, but most ppl who's driven the car agree. Softer suspension for sure, I had to check the suspension mode to see if it WAS in the N Mode, cuz it was really soft over a bump. However, the grip around turns is still there, if not slightly better. Didn't have enough chance to feel the e-LSD to the maximum, but I could definitely feel the suspension difference immediately after going over the first speed bump.

    4:25 Thank you madam for finally speaking out the truth. All car reviews say "a little too..." or "not bad" instead of "it's too much" or "it's bad". Car reviews never tell the bad things openly because they don't want to offend the viewers.

    This makes me wish they will have much bigger electric motors in plugin hybrid. Old and smaller RAV4 plugin has over 300HP and does 0-62mph under 6s.

    이젠 280마력도 부족한 시대가 온건가.. 쏘렌토 탔을때 1.6하브는 정말 답답한 느낌이였는데 2.5T는 시원시원해서 출력이 차고 넘치는 느낌이였어요

    Even in speed limit restricted Korea, acceleration is required for a family car. Imagine that if the vehicle is fully laden with passengers and cargo; there will be key moments where you need a burst of speed for emergencies or at junctions to safely evade obstacles or dangers. Even as engines shrink in displacement, in this age of hybrids and Turbos there is no excuse for sluggish momentum. I am an HMC devotee and see this a weakness in an otherwise class leading product.

    The powertrain seems adequate for Korean market. There are far more cars that are less powerful than the MX5 Santa Fe. Hope there'd be stronger motor choices for overseas market.

    So on older cars in the United States the rear view mirror that's inside the car mounted to the windshield has a little tab on it on the bottom and you flip it up to make it darker so when cars are behind you their headlights don't reflect off the rear view mirror and blind you while you're driving. A lot of newer cars have self-dimming rear view mirrors where a sensor in the mirror on the windshield will sense bright light from behind you reflecting off the mirror and automatically dim so you're not blinded by the light. Some very high-end cars in the United States also have self-dimming side view mirrors that are outside the car but the sensor is usually still built into the rear view mirror that's inside the car mounted to the windshield facing back so when someone behind you as bright lights not only will the rear view mirror get darker but the side mirrors outside the car will get darker too so that you're not blinded. My 2011 Hyundai sonata limited has an auto dimming rear view mirror but no auto dimming side mirrors so when there's a car behind me I'm not blinded by the reflection in the rearview mirror but I can get blinded from the reflection in the side view mirrors. This is a big issue in the United States because a lot of pickup trucks which are very popular have aftermarket headlights that are very bright and can cause blinding reflections for people in sedans that are lower to the ground. This happens to me a lot and I have to duck my head low to avoid being blinded sometimes at night. I believe the Hyundai palisade at least in the States has both a self-dimming or auto dimming rear view mirror and auto dimming side view mirrors and I would love to know if the new Santa Fe also has auto dimming side view mirrors as well.

    In older cars, rear view mirrors had a tab to manually dim them, while newer cars often have auto-dimming rear view mirrors triggered by sensors that reduce glare from headlights behind you. Some high-end cars also include auto-dimming side view mirrors.

Can anyone CONFIRM if the 2024 Santa Fe will have " Optional" third row seats, or are they now Standard ? My 2022 Santa fe is two rows, and I Do Not Want three rows of seats ! I love the under floor storage of my two row Santa Fe...

    싼타페를 타본 적은 없지만 이번 2024 싼타페는 영상으로만 봐도 실내가 되게 넓네요 아쉬운건 GN7과 2023 소나타에도 들어간 계기판이 단점으로 보이네요. 디지털 클러스터라 소프트웨어 업데이트로 디자인을 바꿀 수는 있겠지만.. 아반떼나 GV시리즈에 들어간 클러스터 테마가 훨씬 낫네요.

    Thanks for testing it. If 2.2 diesel engines will not be available in EU, seems I will have to look for other cars. 1,6 HEV or PHEV is way to week, loud, no efficient 🙃

    Las luces traseras deberian estar donde están las letras santa fe, la parte trasera se ve realmente fea, la extraña palanca de cambios en la parte baja detras del volante no me gusta, es urgente ponerle opción paddle shift, para ser un suv 4x4 es necesaria tener mas potencia, no informan las opciones de tracción, no dicen si tiene bloqueo de diferencial ni reductora. El diseño exterior se parece a una vieja y fea Ford Flex 2001, debieron fabricarla con un diseño similar a la Palisade, que es un lenguaje de diseño muy superior. The rear lights should be where the letters Santa Fe are, the rear part looks really ugly, I don't like the strange gear lever in the lower part behind the steering wheel, it is urgent to put a paddle shift option on it, to be a 4x4 suv it is necessary to have more power, they do not inform the traction options, they do not say if it has a differential lock or reduction gear. The exterior design looks like an ugly old 2001 Ford Flex, they must have made it with a similar design to the Palisade, which is a far superior design language.

    I don't care for under powered vehicles, no matter the type. Give us the 3.5TT or just increase the boost in this 2.5T engine (as long as it has strong internals, namely, forged rods, pistons, crank, and so on.) You'll say, "Genesis has the GV80 for that" but I will respond, the GV80 is way too small compared even to this Santa Fe. Finally, Hyundai needs to offer a 2nd row bench as an option in the top trim - the 3rd row in this is so tiny!
