That's what happens when someone tries to convert a Malibu to a Chevelle SS. That's not going to be easy to sort out for the inexperienced guy. But it is a nice looking and sounding car.

I never understood why people put tons of money into the restores and leave the horn dead. In most states you still need the horn to work even on Antiques. Horns are super cheap to fix too. This car has quite a bit of Bondo on it. Interior looks great.

The colors make this car. I 'm not a chevy fan but I love this one. Sounds awesome too. We didn't see any vise grips hanging under this one. lol

Love the color scheme, looks and sounds like it should.

It's amazing how much better that camera does with the audio. I watch your vids on my home theater system and when you do the walk-around you'd think that car is in my living room! 😎👍

Solid lifters from factory fellow Marine order it in vietnam pickup right after he got home. Same paint & interior We drove that from S.C. to Indiana 3 times a month. Blow down interstate in tenn.130mph at night, sad he was drunk and went in iron bridge sideways high speed never got hurt but car never had straight piece of sheet metal left on the car wish i'd been able to buy motor and drive train. Was 4 speed.

For the guy who tried to destroy your camera wouldn't that be a easy small claims court win? Destruction of property? Some people have such miserable lives their only way to make themselves feel better is to try to bring others down. Pathetic really..

I didn’t see a plate number. All he could tell the police is it was a tan/light brown Lincoln Town Car. Still, such a scumbag.

Hard to beat a 1970 SS 454 Chevelle. She's a beauty! The guy who ran over your camera was just jealous that all he could afford was the POS Ford.

That's a very nice car even better when the dash electrical figured out. And what a POS. Of the person to run down your camera. Central California watching

The car is a wonderful car seems like they did a rush job on it a lot of things are not correct but if your going to do a clone my thing is do it all the way right not half ass it for the next person to have to run through it I say another 15 to 20 k invested in it you will have a sweet ride

Just out of curiosity, I did a search on Autotempist for all 1970 Chevelles. Not promoting autotempist, just the search I used that correlates from multiple listing sites. With 87 results, the lowest price was $28k for a 1970 Chevelle Malibu with four doors and a 307 small block.

@@jonstson1753 true, but in the last 18 months I've re-done seven cars. And if I want one, that's absolutely cherry it's even more than 70,000. What I'm saying is the amount of work that has to go to that particular one. The car is worth 30 maybe. We all know once you touch something., Something else happens. And there's always a reason why someone sold it.

why in the world would someone delete the heat/AC equipment.... love the car, has a black one like it in HS...unless you live in a hot dry climate youre going to need heat/defrost...sad

Nice cruiser. That’s the kind of car you can take the kids to DQ and if you get a door ding, you won’t be happy, but it won’t be the end of a $25,000 paint job. The valve covers look out of place, a nice set of chrome OEM style would fit the vibe better. Address a few dashboard issues and drive her to the local burger joint.
