You simply ignore there are variants of this car. The original doesn't have a black roof.

FH5 got the choppy idle but it sounds kind of tame, FM sounds too much like a modern V8 car, GT7 is actually pretty nice sounding to my ears but why does the top end sound like an I5 (a little bit) TCM I’m sold for. OH BOY THE IDLE

The interior sounds in gt7 are S tier!

Gt7 for the win, forza car model for this car is inaccurate model recycled for years and never been fixed, i at least dont blame horizon for it because they never made any stupid built from the ground up marketing like fm did, gt7 model is completly built from scratch

@@FedericoFroebel-dw4jethen you are blind gt7 one is most up to date, between all 4, most detailed by far, the roof can be painted over so its an easy fix, but i guess you like inaccurate car models and dosent know any better, and you do relise that their is multiply versions with the chevelle their is no original version, but what original about forza is thr car model recycled since at least fm3,

@@FedericoFroebel-dw4je The black roof is a real optional thing for the Chevelle LMAO, grow up. The one in Forza has no SS badges which is a terrible issue since Motorsport 6.

Yeah, it's called "valve float." Not really a rev limiter as such, just a mechanical limitation brought on by valve spring return not quite fast enough for the revolutions on the cam.

Forza Horizon is in my opinion the best/truest to the sound, although it's a 396 the've recorded. The crew comes second (the sound from a 327) albeit for the poor pitch programming and annoying fireworks from the exhaust. GT7 and Motorsports don't have either the right engines or realistic rpm.

See, people are just acustom to saying Gran Turismo sounds better and theyre not actually listening. GT7 sounds like a V10 towards the top end! I will say the mic placement relative to the cam is extremely realistic though, sounds just like youre a few feet from the exhaust, but tone is not quite accurate overall.

Gt7 is actully quite accurate more than both forza games when it comes to the tone, its completly off in both forza games, strange thing is that games like fh3 and fm6 had a good sound for this car but since then it just gone downhill, in chase cam crew motorfest takes it, but gt7 still decent and beats both forza titles, at no point does is sound like v10, more just that it lacks depth and weight campared to crew motorfest, in cockpit gt7 sound is spot on,

FH5 looks the best!! I cannot understand how is possibe that sharing same tech, FM looks way uglier.

GT really dropped the ball on both the model and sound, the sound is abysmal. Shocking as GT7 is the gold standard with 99% of other cars

Gt7 have by far the best model between all 4, not even close, the sound could be better in chasecam but its not bad, both forza games sounds less accurate, where gt7 Shines is cockpit sound,

1: The Crew Motorfest 2: Forza Motorsport 2023 3: Gran Turismo 7 4: Forza Horizon 5 Is it me or do my ears pick up this V10/5 cylinder tone from Gran Turismo's Chevelle? Though the sound itself is amazing, I just can't help but hear a V10 in that thing. Forza Motorsport clears up that issue, but it just can't mark up to the sheer quality, clarity and accuracy of The Crew Motorfest's Chevelle, not to mention it sounds like it revs WAY too high and Forza Horizon 5 sounds like a synthetic mess that tried to mimic a diesel car.

Towards the top end it looses a lot of it's growl in GT7, and you're left with the Inline 5/V10 sound

You have a problem with your hearing then, its clearly a v8 sound in gt7, it sounds best in cockpit view and here gt7 takes the top spot and its the most detailed as well, fm uses a recycled old inaccurate model, crew motorfest takes the chase cam sound, gt7 beats both forzas sound more accurate, the forza games dosent have correct tone for the chevelle only crew motorfest and gt7 does, the only issue with gt7 one is that it needs more weight depth in chase cam specially at higher rpm, but this is only a issue in chase cam, it sounds really good in cockpit view, but still overall a decent sound for Chevelle in gt7, only edged out by the crew motorfest slighly, but thats when we talk about the sound only, the model is by far in different league in gt7 campared to the other 3, pd have made good progress on the quality last few years, and when gt8 comes around i am sure even futher sound inprovments will arrive

This car looks really bad in GT7 from chase cam. Looks nicer in all the other 3 games.

Gt7 one is the most detailed and accurate of all 4, the forza ones is inaccurate, but cant expect anything less from a forzafanboy, the cars have always been more detailed in gt7 campared to all other racing games, easily noticable when you look at details, headlights, tailights including different materials looks better in gt7 than any other game, forza always struggles to nail that, and always end up look like plastic
