Great looking ride and really thought out... What a tribute to Bill Jenkins. First man to win at Ponoma Superstock. He won with a 67 camero with the same paint scheme. Awesome car

Oh yea those Liberty transmissions are $$$, saw a lot of those used in UMTR / United Manual Transmission Racers group, they have two classes street stick and pro stick, fun cars to watch for sure

This car has the Grump's look, He wasn't perfect but like the car Bill was loud and scary. I'm sure he is smiling somewhere at the sound of this beast.

You'll never have to worry about someone stealing it. they will never know how to put it in reverse or first gear

This car brings back so many memories because it's drag racing history. I remember Grumpy Toy at two drag strips. National Speedway at Long Island, New York and Raceway Park at Englishtown, New Jersey. During 60s and 70s Bill Jenkins was a top Super Stock class driver along with the mopars of Sox & Martin. His Camaros in Hotrod magazines help make Chrome Crager mag wheels popular.

Looks like he has flat shifted a few cars threw the years that was great brought back memories and that's really what this all about but instead of 2000 dollar cars they are 40 and 50 thousand dollar cars

I love 68 Camaro’s had one when I was 19 with a slapstick shift red with a black stripe. This one is great but too race car for me. I love the original 350 SS with all the factory options

I had a 69 350 4 speed Hurst shifter. Didn't know they came with a 5 speed. All original would be better, except for the Cragar mags which were very popular back then.

Wow! sure brings back memories of driving my white 68 Firebird 400 4spd Hurst out to the drags on Vancouver island back in 75. I paid $1700 back in the day and thought that was a lot of money. I am shocked this car sold for $39 US. Perfect race car. Right colour, right wheels, right motor, sounds deadly. Wonder where my Bird is today, sure would like to have it back or this one..just dreamin. awesome video.

She's a really nice 😎😎😎tribute car there for sure, a mx of show and a whole lot of go for sure, I think old Grumpy would approve 👍👍👍 for sure

I started singing the intro song and went, "Wait a minute here!... This is new lol.. Love the car Nick she is a true gem!. I'm old enough to remember when Bill Jenkins and his Grumpy's toys ruled the drag strips. Saw him run quite a few times. ! Neat tribute car. One of my friends saw the original car in pennsylvania a few years ago @super chevy. !

She just sounds so amazing!. God please let me have the good fortune and I do mean small fortune to own/build something like this some day. 🙏🤞😂

If I had that thing...I'd immediately replace that Liberty with a M21 like Bill's original had!! It would be MORE period correct for a 'tribute' car, and MUCH MORE PRACTICAL for street driving! Not to mention the money you would recover by selling that Liberty to a racer that's going to actually use it for its intended design purpose!!

Bill Jenkins Camaro was a 67 , one of the first to roll off the assembly line . he put 68 door glass on it . it ran a 9.99 in 1970 1st production car to break the 10 sec barrier. Bill and the Sox & Martin team dominated the class back then .

Looks like the car he won the Gator Nationals with in 1970...WOW always been a big fan of Grumpy, grew up with him in the Philadelphia area in the early 70's

Good looking tribute car. I don't think I could live with that shifter on the street, though. Besides, even if you are going to take it to the strip, you don't need a maxed out pro setup for sportsman passes. If you look at Grumpy in the day (there are videos), he has a long, curved Hurst 4-speed in Super stock with a similar car. He ran pretty strong with that setup!
