Maple Motors has set the bar in selling old school cars. The test drives and attention to the details are second to none. One day I will buy a car from you guys.

Yeah Nick does a great job, i was watching another channel but the guy had no personality said (sweet) 20 times a video and the prices were 2-3 times as much
Remember Hemi Under Glass?? That body style was a sensation 1965
A rare timepiece...... That's one fine looking fish, Nick! 2'nd year for the Barracuda! Nice catch!👍😎
This is a great 55 year old car. Good running and good condition, cant go wrong on this for $12,900!
This car really does have a unique back end. This would definitely be a car that I would buy without hesitation if I was in Hendersonville Tennessee. Can’t wait to move there
A real car to sit back relax and cruise or even travel distance. They were just great solid stylish fair priced cars.
Nice Barracuda , this will get a lot of attention at a car show , you don’t see many of them . And it’s in nice shape . SWEETTTTTT . Mike Espo .
Cool haven't seen one of those for years.takes me back!!!
wow , what a classic barracuda !!!!!!
Very nice plymouth. 👍🇺🇸
Brings back memories. The 1st car I ever bought was the same car (tan color) paid $100 and drove it out of a hay field. Both the rear seat and the trunk wall in back folded down making a large flat area behind the front seats. Looks like a 318 engine size, Interior was good but carpet was shot, so installed some shag carpet (lol) Had lots of fun driving this during my High School days. Been a long time viewer, finally subbed Maple. Awesome content.
Been a long time since I seen one of these. This one is in great shape, still original and has not been all butchered up. Someone out there won't be able to live without it once they find out you have it. It's amazing that you can locate 10 or more of these classic's in a weeks time. If you get there before I do hide the Easter eggs.
I love the way your super honest about your cars...if I could afford it I’d buy it for what it is....you’ve got major props....👍🏼👍🏼
A nice example of one of the first pony cars. Way more rare than a Mustang. Like other MOPARS of the era, it definitely has love it or hate it styling. You'd be the only one at the local car show.
This was the first car I took to get my driver's license in was a nice car back then and today would buy this car in a minute.
this model shares many features common to 63 Valiant. The vents, gauges closely resembles as well as the front body shape. Even the door slamming sounds similar. Chrome door handles and window regulators are same. It's a nice car.

The 64 model Barracuda has a Valiant emblem on the rear panel between the taillights.
So, a speedo cable, or maybe just take it out, spray carb cleaner in it then some lube down thru it, and put in a new turn signal canceling cam in the steering column, and hopefully the original horn is there, they are almost as loud as those new train horns you see on tv. Maybe just a connection or the horn relay is bad. It may be fixed when a new turn signal switch is installed, the horn contact is part of that. They always had a bit of road noise. Not much sound deadening in Mopars back then. A 273 2bbl only had 180 hp at the crank, so it's not a hot rod. A hemi grind cam and an aluminum intake and 600 cfm carb really wakes it up. And dual exhaust. Or drop in a 340 up to a 408 and really make it scream.
No more drivin' than I do these days I'd love to have that little baby blue beauty.
Hey Nick I really like this car and wish you could find more of these. Valiants Aspen's Dusters all great cars nice size and smooth fun driving cruisers
Cant remember last time i seen one of them.? Back in high school late 60s
Back in 65 you could get this or a mustang 289 for the same price, But the 67 Barracuda I'd take one of those over a Mustang same year
I always thought it was interesting that these little Plymouths had red motors, when most Plymouth motors are painted blue and Dodge motors are red. This color is correct, my mothers 64 Barracuda 273 is red. She bought it new in April 64. My brother still has it.
Interior looks great. What a unique car. Definitely would not be stock when I was done with it.
Nice car iv owned several..theres nothing like a first gen barracuda..got one now im tinkering with.
Wow so very beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour
Big fan of that back window beautiful car only thing I don't like is front end much love from Minnesota God bless 🙏.
This is the car I'd buy...not a lot of investment for a car you can drive. That little 273 is a solid lifter motor with lots of power...I would upgrade the front brakes!

Only the hypo had the solid lifters 235 hp
man she would make one sweet sleeper I love her stock look on the outside, but what if she had a 440 drive train? Smooth runner now though and a nice interior makes her appealing as is. Nice car.

Just not enough room between the fenderwells. A 340 is a tighter fit than the 273, as the deck height must be just a tad taller. I remember my brother had to grind on the left exhaust manifold a bit. But it may have just been the difference in the 340 manifold exterior dimensions being the interference problem around the steering box. Still an LA is all that will fit, a B or RB would require a lot of cutting and welding.
Wow cool color, and no Squeaks very smooth, who's been hiding this cool Mopar mustang all these years. Cool floor shifter was that stock? I'm used to that automatic console that Mopar put into almost every small and mid size mopar from 1965 to 1976.

Yes, on a floor shift option, that is the stock shifter and housing for the cable shifter. They came stock with the row of pushbuttons and the park lever that took it out of whatever gear it was in, and depressed the N button when the lever was pulled down. This was on the left side of the instrument panel. The pushbutton shifter was foolproof, never miss a shift with one.
Wow!!!; don't see these alot; looks very original; I would leave it just the it is; could get some good trophies at car shows because of its orginally; nice nick👍

Always liked that body style, with a different stance, and a little more rubber you'd have a really sweet cruiser.

It's hard to put a lot of tread width at stock ride height on these. I've had one in my life since my mother bought one new in April 64, still in the family.
My great-aunt had one husband bought it for brand new 273 for Speed she wouldn't use first gear to save my uncle's ass he got good at putting clutches in them man those were the good old days
Nice car.
those little 273 2bbl's only had about 180hp, don't expect much performance, it don't have much to give
i like it
Oue Barracuda!!
Does it have a nylon gear going into side of trans or sonar atop chunk in rear end? Make Speedo jump!
@davidkeeton6716

Cable and gear goes in the tailshaft housing of the trans.
Probably a 273 v8 2 barrel engine 235 hp. single exhaust, good small v8

235 with a 4 bbl. 180 with 2 bbl.
All horns must be rendered inoperable before Maple Motors will purchase your car !
You dont see these much
don't break that back glass , big bucks

IF YOU CAN FIND ONE. Then there is the weatherstripping that will probably crumble. With the trim in it that is made of unobtainium.
That poor car must be feeling lonely after all this time sitting there.
First👍
It's not a motor. It's an engine. A 273 Commando.

It has Commando valve covers on it with the fins, but I think this is a 180 hp 2 bbl .

I look at it one way and I really like it. The lines were unique and I love that big glass back. I think a coat of red paint and some nice tires and rims is all it needs. And put a 318 in it.

@@ronmyers2317Why only a 318? Why not a built 360, 340s are hard to find, or a 408?
