Just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to Tesoro. I was shopping around for a detector and had never heard of Tesoro. I stumbled across a video of you and a friend (I believe he had the AT Pro, a detector I was looking at) in the woods. You had the Vaquero. The single tone, thumb discrimination appealed to me. So I watched every Vaquero video English ,or foreign and liked it more and more. In there I found Scannerguy1974 and his test bed of the vaq. I was sold. kind of. I chose the Tejon. I like the idea of dual disc. Hopefully one day I'll have time to make a Tejon video and make a test bed in my PA soil. Thanks again.

greatest detector that exist....yes battery check loud....tape speaker for volume controll....machine is amazing..learn your faint sounds..

thanks for the video!! I have the cutlass umax (not the cutlass II, previous model) and the only difference is it's got all metal on the disc knob as a click down instead of the switch and it runs at 12khz like the compadre. can't find any videos on it but yours is identical besides the freq at 12 and the no switch on mine. I love my tesoros. love to see you run the nokta relic or makro racer 2 in that bed if you can get your hands in them. my only other machines besides my tesoros. happy hunting!! subscribed for detector videos.

i was just about to buy a new one, and went to a local flea market, here a guy had an older cutlass 2, ..got it for 15 bucks and has new batteries, only thing i cant cant figure out is , whats the white colored plastic switch ? its by the battery door, cant seem to find anything on it.

groundcompensation , turn it up till it chirps quietly , i search over 10 years with the og.cutlass 2 now , good detector
