Great Video. I agree with Elon on the slow rollout - get the bugs out and let new battery tech and charging stations be built. There are only a few freeways in Cali like the 5 that can easily build the infrastructure in the state. Start small and build slowly as the prices come down. Stay in state rather than worry about long hall trucking - best for 2nd or later generations.

500 miles per semi per week of those 200 amounts to 25,000 gallons of diesel if semis get 4mpg at 8 thats over 12k gallons. Thats a lot of fuel & emissions equipment not used.

It doesn't have 500 miles range.

i dont understand why the dont add battarys to the trailor the trailer sits in the dock wile loading it could be charging and once hooked to the truck it could expand the drive range

Logging trucks should be Electric. You go up the hill empty and come back down full of potential energy. With regenerative braking I wouldn't be surprised if you could recharge the batteries just coming down the hill.

Probably the hardest thing in the world to hide is a working Tesla Semi.

Recently Elon stated that his Semi would also be produced in Berlin for the European market. We eagerly are waiting for it!

You should study facts before writing bull 💩 Read the book of Tony Seba or understand when disruption happens. By 1900 the roads in big cities have been covered with horse manure and only few cars hit the road. It was risky and dangerous because there were many horse owners and coachmen idiots like you! In 1920 already there were no more horses. Today we are the horses and ICE for sure because it goes exponentially fast with now 30% plus in EV sales around the globe where Tesla with a more expensive car than the Corolla of Toyota is absolute number#1 but you will see speeding that up when more people want to become free from dangerous oil sources that do not respect our western societies. But we still seemingly are proud slaves like you that do not understand that only our own electricity makes us free. This gonna be like the Tesla cars that after 10 years, you throw it away and buy a new one. And Tessa Track have been a failure very few of come out and look even Tesla has problems the stock market not doing well.

So what I’ve heard here is a bunch of promises not sure if we can even come close to giving them because the thing they promised the most is a truck but the thing they can’t make is the battery which in this case is the engine huh seems a little fishy to me makes me want to run to the bank and just pull out my life savings and invest just so I can see somebody else pissed away my money

Every single person said 500 was impossible. Already achieved. 1,000 will happen just a matter of when is all.

Notice the truck has no sleeper. Sleeper is not needed it will never be that far from a charging port. Next try to drive that truck across Montana in january at negative -45 deg f. Yes montana is the state with the highest number of tesla owners who want their money back. The batteries wont charge and hold a charge at sub zero temps. 90% of America endures 6 months of sub zero temps yearly. Joke is not correct, tragic is more appropriate.

None of what you say is true about owners in Montana, simply not a fact. The truck and all Teslas will work fine at -45, no need to keep the diesel motor running, just a heating fan to keep the cab cool. truck can come with a sleeper. You need to do some research before just downplaying new technology. Don’t be a hater, become informed.
