Well, my 83 yr young friend let me drive his Model S Plaid. White on White. Full Self-Driving 12.3.3 Supervisor. 17 miles of interesting fun. I could hear the road tire noise emanating through the floor which was weird. I left my other cell phone under the seat. When I called it, I could not hear it at all! I opened the door and boom, the sound was clear. I know about the glass construction and that is cool. The handling with the yoke is fun. His does 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. Pinned our heads. Very cool feeling. Another friend with an early Model X said get the Model 3 and save a pile of money and still enjoy the benefits of 100% electric. His X was used for a cabinet business. I saw the Cybertruck the next day. That was sweet. I have a Tundra and Ford Cmax Energi plugin. I get between 520-580 miles of range. When I plug in, range is 11-15 miles depending on the temperature outside. Both vehicles are comfortable with luxuries. I would find it hard to go back to a simple car. Teslas are not “Super Cars”, they are Super Computers that have 4 wheels, lots of cameras and go fast, safely, as long as you are a responsible alert hands on driver. I need space. The 3,878 Cybertruck recall does not bother me. The 300 mile round trip for service to fix the acceleration pedal is ehhhh. Thank you for your fun review.

I didn't know you could get the Model X with the tan interior and still have the instrument cluster in front of the driver! 👍 That was one of the reasons I was looking for a used Model S, and I also like the screen in portrait not landscape on the older Model S. Not an overly big fan of the falcon doors but I might have to rethink about a Model X. I've also heard of people changing out the coil springs on the Model Y to get a softer ride.

Model X is that dream car while Model Y is that car that makes the most sense...it all depends on your financials; life is short and sometimes you have to splurge a little to get the most out of it.

I own a Model X Plaid. I cant wake up in the morning without looking outside to make sure its still there 💀 😂

ALL Model Ys now have matrix headlights, not just performance models. Fremont builds have had matrix headlights for a while now. Austin builds started September 2023.

I lost interest in the model X since you don't get the 7500 federal rebate if you buy anything except the absolute base model, and I wanted white on white with yoke and 4 captain seats. loving my white MYP tho.

I don't need an SUV but I would choose the Model Y because you said it feels smaller on the road and drives more like a sedan. I prefer sport sedans and look forward to checking out the 2024 Model 3 Performance.

Uhh, every car brand has a different category of cars for didn’t budgets , Tesla is no different, really no point in comparing a Y to an X , if you can afford the X then you get a the X . Model Y is the best selling car in the world because most people can afford it, most can’t afford an X, not even used.

The model x qualities for single tax year depreciation. The Y qualifies for current tax incentives.

X for me

Imo model x isn't worth 2x the car. It looks similar enough. Just saying

Y........ Only for me.

I still prefer the Y. Much better value and reliability. While a few of the features are better on the X, the price difference and reliability hit doesn’t sway me. I am biased though. I have a 2024 MYLR and I love it.

For someone who don’t know much about the 2 cars, it was hard to follow given the constant back and forth between the 2 models. Would have been easier to review 1 model and move to the next one

Appreciate you watching and the feedback! Only thing is if I did one car after the other, it would be 2 reviews stacked in one video versus feeling like a comparison. I did add chapters if you need to go back and tried to say “for the model x or model y” in each section to avoid confusion. I hope that helps 👌🏼

Brutally DISHONEST review. The doors are a disaster. When you opened the rear door on the X it stopped lower than your head. You would have to duck under it to get in the back seat. Unacceptable.

Tesla fans are lame as hell... Model X is lame, Tesla needs to make the X into a proper SUV... I got a MYP because of the charging infrastructure... Other than that, I prefer a proper SUV like the Rivian R1S or the Kia EV9...

My Tesla Y is a joke! poor fit and finish! can't open the car door at times! 240$ per month in insurance cost, I am a perfect second driver too over 30, warning can't just call the dealership if you have issues ! wheels get road rash just by looking at them, tires are poor just look at the face, prices change every month so my value goes down not stable company what a joke, I want my money back Tesla
