Since June 2023, I’ve been driving the Tesla Model Y SR with the BYD battery from Grünheide. During our August journey from Munich (Germany) to Greece via Ancona (Italy), the charging speed was faster than the time needed for meals or bathroom breaks. The SR MIG not only enhanced our travel experience but also proved to be remarkably time-saving. ❤️

I really appreciate the 800V System of my Ioniq6, but Tesla‘s new configuration impresses deeply: small battery, high efficiency combined with a high and flat charging curve… these 3 features are for me the only way of a smart e Mobility. And if you consider the outside temperature, it is one of the best results. Tesla would do well to leave the indicator stalks than this car is almost perfect

That would be a really interesting test. I'd argue that the differences would be a lot smaller if the only difference would be the tire size - kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKt1rKOIqMuefKg.html explains really well how wider tires don't actually have such a larger contact patch compared to narrower tires. It would probably be mostly impacted by the weight difference (both tire & wheel)

I agree that value would be very nice to have, since it would remove any need for correction based on traffic. But that would require much more hassle during test to track. In our database we have the theoretical difference in perfect weather Catl For the theoretical 1000km challenge, starting with a full battery and driving at 120km/h (75 mph), assuming optimal driving conditions and consumption of 19,5kWh/100km, 1000km will take 9 hours and 55 minutes. This trip will require five charge session(s) charging from 0% to 51%. The total time lost for charging up the battery will be 95 minutes. Byd For the theoretical 1000km challenge, starting with a full battery and driving at 120km/h (75 mph), assuming optimal driving conditions and consumption of 19,5kWh/100km, 1000km will take 9 hours and 35 minutes. This trip will require four charge session(s) charging from 0% to 64%. The total time lost for charging up the battery will be 75 minutes. NMC For the theoretical 1000km challenge, starting with a full battery and driving at 120km/h (75 mph), assuming optimal driving conditions and consumption of 19,5kWh/100km, 1000km will take 9 hours and 52 minutes. I use this battery technology LIFEpo4 in my self built solar battery. Its now good for 6000 full discharge cycles to 80% after like 15 to 20 years. I think Tesla now using this chemistry means the battery used as you like without regard for its condition or state of charge. No more need to baby the battery at all use it how you like it will outlast the car.
