Keeping the car cool efficiently without requiring a running engine is one of the many underrated features that require owning a Tesla to fully experience, after a few weeks of owning my Tesla I was still finding new ones. I think it's a product that sells itself but many people have never experience it and the main stream media give a completely different view of reality. Many of the myths of the past are slowly being exposed although there's always new ones. EVs due to being silent will kill pedestrians unless they have a fake sound, batteries catch fire easily, range anxiety ( completely non-existent with Teslas ) etc etc.

A super easy drive, and FSD does pretty good: 1:57 FSD hesitates on easy Left turn, human *intervenes* 16:50 Nick is smoking, on the way to his Doctor for a physical 😄 26:32 Nick says 0 interventions, but pressing gas pedal is an *intervention*

Results were 10/10 🙏 “Safety related critical interventions” EVs don’t have a “gas” to press - pressing the accelerator is not a critical intervention in most cases, as you saw today These drives are not perfect, but you seem to discount the 30 minutes in which it was perfect? Care to comment on any of those?

“Super easy drive” My guy was from my garage down a busy main road onto a highway and then traveling the biggest most traveled Outerbelt of the 14th largest city in the country, exiting, and driving directly to the front door of the doctors office - from years of experience I can tell you this is way more intense than an average drive any given day👍

But let's remember what Elon said *8* *years* *ago* : "Soon, FSD will drive from LA to New York, automatically" Los Angeles to New York is *43* *hours* . And without supervision. That's what Elon said. Elon oftens deals in hopes and dreams, and is light on reality.

@@donniccolo Most people in America live in big cities, or close to big cities. Today's drive to your doctor was *Sesame* *Street* compared to driving in New York City or Chicago or San Francisco. Or how about those big metro areas at night or in the rain. FSD must handle challenging drives otherwise it is useless. If a guy in Montana can drive for hours with no interventions, well that doesn't mean much. .

@@DerekDavis213 I'm the first one to call out Elon for making statements that were objectively verifiably false at the time and I continue to note that we are not tbe taking steering wheel out of these cars anytime soon. I am a Tesla Bull, but I am capable of also being critical, unfortunately, the Bears are not capable of being complementary when deserved Not giving credit to how the software drives right now independent of any previous claims is disingenuous. I judge the software by how it acts in real time today, not by any statements from the past. Because those are useless today.
