Is the front turn signal light accessible from there also ?

I've seen some people mention that it's possible to replace the HID bulbs without removing the wheel - have you tried that or considered it? Asking as I have a defective left HID bulb on mine (also a blue pre-facelift '16, though with air suspension🙂).

Hello, not sure if you would know the answer to this question but thought I ask, do you happen to know the screw size for the rear chrome diffuser? Thank you in advance.

Much easier then dis assembly of the entire front end

How did you know it was the bulb and not the ballast?

Most likely just: old bulb: bulb doesn't turn on new bulb: bulb turns on if with new bulb bulb wouldn't have turned on, then problem would have in ballast.

Only cars with Air Suspension have Jack mode

Not that bad. My aunt's Mini needed to remove the front bumper to access the bulb in order to replace it!

Why in the hell they would use a HID system and not LEDs is beyond me

because for some reason bright led car lights are not replaceable. good example is Tesla model 3 high beam lights, even those that don't have matrix lights, those you can not just replace, because those leds are soldered directly to borads, so if something gets broken, then you need to replace pretty much whole headlight and that may cost from couple $100 up to +$1000 each. Compared to HID bulbs that costs only $30-$50 each and even these lasts well about 10 years.

I appreciate the feedback. you are right of course. I forgot to bring my tripod that day and was kicking myself for it. i'm good at fixing tesla's but bad at being my own Camera crew.
