Tesla Model 3 Update: Destroyed the Front Lip, Wheel Disaster and Installing Spacers

What's up, Tesla nerds! Time to give you an update on the Nerd3. It is now equipped with a busted front lip and super douche-y wheels, so I'm slowly making progress - in the wrong direction. I'll walk you through the installation of spacers and fumble through a few different sizes to figure out which one works best for me.

The problem with those body kits is they hang lower. I don't like the look but that's taste. I've owned two model 3 performance vehicles. With mine, I lowered the first car with custom offset wheels that are staggered. I think the car looks super clean with the factory plastics and just needs to be lowered with a different offset wheel. The bodykits take away from the Tesla to me and make it look cheap.

Stock Tesla wheels look so much better. Not into the body add ons. Lowered with camber adjusted and the spacers looks “dialed in”. Carbon brakes are super impressive. Don’t really agree model 3 perf is ugly but to each their own right? In any event…independent of price, I’d much much much rather roll in a Model 3 performance than any Porsche. Electric and the Tesla tech puts the car in a different league. Nice video Matt …as always great delivery and honest commentary….can’t stop watching every time I begin on of your contributions. Did the Pirelli’s come from the factory? If they did then I’m thrilled my wife’s 2020 Model 3 came with PS4S Michelin’s. In almost every application lately the Pirelli’s are excessively stretched, not so much with the Michelin’s. Plus the fact they turn into rocks long before they run out of tread.

Hey Matt, I think I see where you’re going with this I really like the rims but yeah the blue just doesn’t work Maybe leave the body kit until you find a new front lip you might find one that works with the existing body kit you can always pull it off if it doesn’t. Maybe paint the barrels gloss black that three piece design looks really good it would be cool if you find a way to accentuate The design maybe even a really dark gray but I wouldn’t blame you going one color may be a little gun shy after the blue anyways excited to see how it turns out have a good one.

Matt, Thank you again for the support! Let me know if those lug nuts are still bothering you haha. We can certainly work something out... They are suppose to be OEM replacements without the need for those caps like you mentioned in the video, nothing fancy. Sorry to hear about what happened to your lip... For replacement, may I suggest NOVITEC? modelplusstudio.com/products/novitec-front-lip-spoiler?_pos=5&_sid=bc417f28a&_ss=r A subtle OEM+ look but in premium gloss carbon fiber. This will compliment well with your carbon AS rear spoiler in my opinion. We are an official authorized NOVITEC Group dealer, so you will be getting them authentically from the source. All pieces are made to order, so it takes a few weeks for these carbon pieces to be built in Germany and then Air Freighted over. Let me know if there's anything else we can be at help with on your Model 3! -Danny
