the battery issue is simple, they need to start a drive thru, where they change batteries rather than charging them, this can be done by having 2 batteries that are divided into primary battery ( the one that holds juices from the secondary battery and is not detachable), and secondary battery( which can be replaced at the drive thru ). This will allow the secondary battery to charge the primary battery while still driving; like a power bank for cars. the secondary battery being the power bank that can be detached and replaced in the drive thrus, the batteries could be stored in the car hood, or on the side of the car, in a slide out container.

Battery swap has been attempted already. Search for 'Project Better Place'. It failed. Tesla have demonstrated the swap already. And why split the battery in 2? That is just plain silly. It adds complexity, you lose energy pumping it from one battery to the other. The only thing that would make sense would be swapping out the entire battery. For passenger cars, it will not catch on. But It will probably be successful for the Tesla semi.

It failed in 2013 , batteries where not as good as now, and Tesla was pretty much experimenting with consumers, now its a different story, 500,000 more electric cars means more practicality. People would look at you crazy if said you're looking for a top of the line electric sedan in 2013. 5 years did a lot to make it mainstream, and the next 5-10 years we will see a lot of copycats in the auto industry. More cars means parking lot sized charging stations or simply, one roof battery exchange station.

exchanging only the secondary battery means the primary battery would still function for basic vehicle needs, like communication with vehicle electronics, to see faulty batteries and vehicle data etc, Like using your phone while plugged into the power bank.

Your concept has a number of flaws, the main one being it's unnecessary.

To all those who are naysayers and hate this vehicle...You remind me of people driving a 30 year old Lada in a Moscow snowstorm with bald tires, no wipers and bad brakes.
