Nice video, I noticed that in traffic aware CC your car does not react to traffic speed signs, if you use CC without traffic awareness activated does the car then react and change speed according to maximum speed for that road

When activating cruise control on a Tesla it is always traffic-aware, there is no option to activate cruise control without it. It would surely be a great feature if the traffic-aware cruise control would react to speed signs and increase/decrease the speed accordingly.

Does it slow down for cross traffic, like for a vehicle approaching from right or left and merging into your lane? I’m basically wondering if the car uses all the cameras for TACC and not just the front cameras.

Thanx for watching 👍🏻 Yes the car uses all 8 cameras while driving for collision avoidance and also slows down to let merging traffic into the lane, but in my opinion the car is a little bit too aggressive in not slowing down for merging traffic until the cars are really close.

Nice video! I was wondering.. when it’s in traffic aware cruise control..does it stop if someting would obstruct your route suddenly? Like a pedestrian or a biker getting in front of you from the right?

Yes, the car will definitely stop or automatically avoid obstructions like pedestrians or bikers, both on and off Traffic-Aware Cruise Control.

so its literally just adaptive cruise control...

Yes it is exactly adaptive cruise control, Tesla simply calls it Traffic-Aware Cruise Control 😊
