Not a fan of electric vehicles due to the fact there is no where to charge them close to me. Doesn’t make sense for us at this point. I do like the look of your car and the color is perfect! Thanks for sharing

I don’t care for Elon Musk but do appreciate that he took a hit for freedom of speech. We should all be able to speak our beliefs and for that I do thank him. I just bought a gas vehicle last weekend. I’m not able to purchase a Tesla at this time but not opposed to owning one in the future. Thanks for all the info.

We bought a new regular Toyota Corolla Cross. The electric one was more expensive and the waiting list was over a year. Since the both of us work from home we're not in traffic all the time which is a good thing. 😊

I just bought a new gas power car about a month ago. I am very happy with my gas power car and cost was about the same as a Model 3. I’m not looking to buy an electric car until distance on a full charge increases and battery technology improves (less lithium, recycle process figured out, longer battery life, etc.). My feelings about Elon Musk has no influence on whether I buy a Tesla or not. Love the video, Jared!

Hi Jared! I’m going to be completely honest with you. No I wouldn’t by a Tesla rather it be model 3 or Y honesty I wouldn’t buy an electrical vehicle Polestar, Kia Niro, Hyundai Kona, Chevy Bolt and honestly I love Chevy ect. I work for Hertz Rental Car’s one of their call Center I cannot tell you how many issues these vehicles have plus they don’t even have spare tires which I’m sure you know about the no spare in a Tesla. But tires are too heavy for an electrical vehicle. The cost of the tire is easy 350-400+ for a tire to eliminate the road noise because it has to have a foam inside the tire. The charging yeah charging stations are cool but what happens when you don’t have your adapter for a non Tesla charger? When you run out of charge you have to get the car towed and not only that because the cam ran out of charge you have to have a 12V jump just to charge. Then chargers get stuck in the charging port. Or cars will not even charge. the list honestly can go on and on in the shirt story no I would never buy one

In my application and uses, I think I'd rather have a Hybrid/Plug-In Hybrid. I'm a huge car guy from North Dakota where electric infrastructure is lacking, so I don't really have a choice. I prefer gasoline vehicles anyways.

I would buy a Tesla when the mile range is 500. I do a lot of long distance driving from CA to AZ to LA to Canada.

My tesla doesn't get a lot of road noise. I have the 2023 model Y..I always feel like it's almost too quiet.

Have you had any major issues with your Tesla? As soon as the Highland performance comes out in Phoenix I'm ordering it !!! I fell in love with it on the test drive. This will be my first EV / Tesla so I'm nervous especially about reliability as I currently have a '15 Corolla that runs perfect yeah it's a Toyota. I ask everyone I see in public how they feel about their Tesla and they all say they love theirs. I'm sure I will enjoy mine too as well as the tech.

I can't believe I didn't mention this in the video. I should have. No issues whatsoever. Only maintenance I've had done is a new 12v battery and new tires. I know others have had their fair share of service problems, but ours has been pretty ideal.

How would you compare the maintenance costs of your Tesla to your gas car. We rode in a Tesla Uber and ut was spacious in the inside for its size. If I drove, I would definitely consider the electric cars after they come down in price which I see happening. Not a fan of Elon these days, but that wouldn’t affect my decision of what car to buy. If I had the budget for the Tesla and wanted it over other cars I would buy it.

We just purchased a gas car last weekend. I would love an electric vehicle, but it is cost prohibitive for us. And I’m not a fan of Mr. Musk, so I would likely look at something besides a Tesla. Enjoyed your insight and update on your car!

I wouldn’t buy one. Too expensive, and if those batteries go… ya need $25k to get new ones. Now if I were rich, I may. Fun toy.

Are you planning to change for bigger Tesla. We have model y and I love it because of the space . We have had the car for 2 years now and have had no problems , and we have winters . We live in Finland 😊

The only thing I don’t understand is people’s thoughts around needing 500 miles of range. The current ranges (300-340) allow you to drive for four hours without stopping to charge. People usually need to use the bathroom, stretch, and/or eat every four hours or so. It’s a perfect time to take a 30 minute break to do some of those things and charge!

I’m less likely to by a Tesla now because of musk. I do however appreciate the ones who have a sticker saying they bought it before he lost his mind. lol.

In Germany you do not see many Teslas 😬

I think like you mentions we would consider a electric car as our second vehicle for my husband who doesn’t drive much for work. ❤ Not the biggest fan of Elon…. But if the back fits 3 car seats then I would consider a Tesla…(kids wouldnt be in car much but just nice if we could all fit)
