Hi Ryan, Tesla owner here too. Happy with the car, especially the white seats. I did the sunshade + UV on all the windows including the ceiling. Charging is free on all Tesla AC charger, i m just paying per entry parking after 5pm walk home and collecting the car at 9pm when its fully charged.

@@Oceanmysts The Supercharger is not free, Tesla has a few AC Chargers located all over the island which is free to use, only for Tesla owners.

Nice ride! Anyway just want to mention it is Auto Pilot on Expressway/Highway. FSD (Full Self Driving) Beta which is used on small roads are not available in Singapore yet but can be activated once it is ready and Singapore approves it.

Appreciate the day to day details of the cons. U turning with 3 lanes will be a significant hindrance to driving…😢

preset driver profiles, plus detect your keys (phone key has personal profile) on which side (driver side or passenger side)

How do you lock the doors once you’ve entered the car? And does yours have the function to make your car drive to where you’re standing? Also what if suddenly super heavy rain and your charging?

You can simulate ICE car style of driving if u like, it’s just a setting control! If u want regenerative braking, u need to get used to it. Took me about 20 minutes!

I believe it does, but only for the 12v battery, but doesn’t cost that much for that :)

Yes tesla will bid COE on your behalf for about 300-400$ 6 month validity

Teslas can charge with public charging infrastructure too! There are already Singapore Teslas making round trips to Chiang Mai, so that should alleviate your anxiety!

teslas can charging at any charger. And also the supercharging network in msia will be up quite soon. There's 1 at KL alr, and another opening in JB.

First and foremost, nice video! There has been reports where FSD beta safety features does not work well, and Tesla has been suppressing reports. Will you be worried about these reports? Also, there has been reports of subpar build quality. Did you experience any of that as compared to either a Toyota or other intercontinental car manufacturers?

I don’t have fsd so I not sure, I just use auto drive enhanced which is basically just staying in lane - from what I understand, Singapore gets their teslas from giga factory from Shanghai which is better build. Personally my car was perfect without any flaws but I can’t speak for the rest!

ICE cars have to change sparkplug, maintain gearbox, exhaust, engine, filters etcetc, those cost also add up to be very expensive. AND, tesla batteries come with 8 year warranty / 160,000km (whichever comes first) + we have no maintenance so i think overall.. we still cheaper :D

@@Cla345 Malaysia Tesla superchargers are popping up really fast. And the Malaysia charging network is very good, in fact, better than Singapore. Just due to the fact they have more landspace and also they dont need to dig underground to upgrade their cables.

Any thoughts on the wiper controls? Heard its done on the touchscreen and someone in Germany got a fine and driving ban for using that.

Really love the automatic handles you’ve featured. Will install them after having spare cash post house renovations 😭

@@yasminong5239 take note that you might need to troubleshoot after each software update. I didnt go with the auto handles cuz of that. The vendor will help you to get around any troubleshooting but not worth the hassle. Also heard some other parking near a kopitiam and while eating, the car detects your phone. The handles start opening and closing non stop.

Let me know if there’s any question u have about Tesla and I’ll reply to you - I may had missed out a lot of features or questions that you may have but I can answer you (to the best of my knowledge in the comments!)

@@hiraganas i cannot remember my exact sum anymore because i trade in my previous car which significantly reduced the price i have to fork out, but all in all i think its like this Tesla car - $240k (at that time i buying)? Grant = - $45k Trade in = $90k (+/-) Down payment = $9000 The rest loan over 5 years The exact number I really can't be too sure, but yea more or less like that!

There's alot that I forgotten to mention in the video but here are some things I remember off the top of my head (i'll continue to edit here if i remember more!) 1. When you are parked in EV charging public lots, make sure to stay plugged in - You would get fined $70 if you are parked and not charging! 2. The community for Tesla is extremely active, strong and helpful - its call Tesla La Kopi - they are often faster than googling tips n tricks about your car!

My horror is going into multi -storey carkpark with model 3😭

Hi bro, thank you for your comment but My car was 7 years old, I trade in, top up 9k for a brand new car, and I don’t have to pay servicing and fuel - seems like a no brainer to me I didn’t “keep” saying I got no money, I had a rough patch and had since got out of the rut, being broke at that time was a transitional state, not a permanent mindset. Now that I’m doing better, and my car is old, I don’t find it “out of touch” to upgrade to a new car w a low cost with the purpose of saving money in a long run But nevertheless, when people are committed to misunderstand, they will nv bother to hear the truth - so whatever floats your boat! :)
