I really couldn't tell much difference between the two

not sure, but I'd guess the following: 1. there was quite some time between the 2 videos, as the grass has a different length. long grass seems to reflect the light on the upper video (2024.20.6.2) more, than the emptyness, which is obvious. it makes the impression though, as the upper lights are bighter. 2. at 0:37 - where the length of the grass doesn't matter, but the terrain does, it seems to me that the lower model (2024.8.9) gives a tiny bit more brightness, depth and width of the light beam. but hey - to me it's nitpicking, both are just fine, better than many. I've paid over 1200€ for a matrix option for an Opel Astra K, here it's free and seems even better

The top ones are noticeably better. Are they the Matrix?

Both cars have the matrix function enabled, the new one, the one at the top, has the advantage of being able to turn the light beam when cornering. Otherwise, most people think the old one is better :)

Finally after three years, other manufacturers installed this technique already a decade ago. The head up display is still missing though, even on the X and S models

Yes it took a while before it was activated, I drove 2 years with my first model 3 before it was activated. But I'm pretty sure if it had been one of the other brands, they would have charged a good amount of money to activate it, Tesla just said here it is and it's free, their constant development of the software and features is one of several reasons why I bought a new Tesla when I replaced the old one. I don't really see the problem in having only one screen with all the info, and no HUD, it took me less than a day to get used to it, and I haven't really thought about it since. But people are free to think what they want about it.

HUD isn’t coming any time soon. Why spend money and add complexity for a feature that few people use on a vehicle that is approaching “don’t need to do anything” autonomy?
