Sadly in 2017, after a sudden illness from cancer, Terry Harrison passed away. I am in touch with Terry’s lovely wife who is recovering well but slowly after her devastating loss. Terry is a huge loss not only to the art world but to his dear family and friends who will miss him enormously. He was a great artist who loved to share his artistic skills and encouraged thousands of people to pick up a brush paints and create. Terry ❤️

The more I watch videos about drawing, and painting, and art in general, the more I see that you just need to let yourself have fun, and let everything flow, and do whatever you want.

I have been watching Terry for four years or so, he is one of the very best teachers, on the internet!

Terry you are a brilliant genius, I adore your work!

I have been a long time fan of yours. I have purchased each and every video of yours. These were not on DVD at the time!!! You taught me to paint trees and lovely backgrounds. Masking fluid is just great to protect little flowers. Thanks for those marvellous videos which I will cherish for years to come. Luv ya Terry. Your fan from France. xxx

great trick with the masking fluid, never seen befor!

Hi, the purpose of using soap on the brush is to stop the masking fluid from sticking to the brush and so will easily wash off. See Terry's other clip on here for using masking fluid.

you are such a great artist, sir. I wish I was born talented like you. Practicing doesn't go well for me. I am studying Architecture and it's a requirement to know how to color and paint. The soap is used to prevent the brush from getting ruined by the masking fluid. It's easier to wash off when you have used a bit of soap before dipping in the masking fluid.
