Five years since its outbreak, the Simian Flu has wiped out half of humanity and left other primates...evolved. Now at the crossroads of two species’ destinies, you are an ape with advanced intelligence, captured and held prisoner in a heavily guarded scientific facility as mankind desperately searches for a cure. Your mission: confront human aggression as you climb, jump and shoot through the chaos of an apocalyptic world to escape with your fellow apes and return home to Caesar.

@@maximiliandort3489 the man is basically a gymnast: none of his muscles are just for show, he’s incredibly agile and strong. That scene is insane. You are literally watching a wild animal.

@@ericg1100 hey brother. Story is that I work as a stunt performer for film. And sometimes we get asked to portray creatures like animals and monsters. I worked on planet of the apes as well but not to his caliber. He was part of my audition process and taught valuable knowledge. The thing I remember most, "Chimps never waste movement. They don't go anywhere unless there is reason. His interest is peaked. And it's only instinctual things that peak his nature. Food. Fight. Or mating." I still keep that audition in mind for future works of mine.

So amazing. Even the curve of the spine and how he compacts his proportions, the rhythm of the sway and gaze. For a moment you 'forget' the man and can see the animal instead. We see the CG in the movie so we easily take things like this for granted with our assumptions.
wow he's very good at this...
The sound he makes in the end is what you will hear in both the movies, whenever Rocket has a dialogue. Its Awesome! Love that!
Everyone should watch this guy in the movie “the square”. He’s not like a bodybuilder, his physical abilities are incredible.

This was very impressive on so many levels
He's done the same thing he's doing here, with the same instruments he's using here in The Square scene. That's awesome!
Kinda helps the seriousness of this that he's well built. Indeed what is at first perceived as something silly it is actually a display of the understanding of a completely different species. It always impresses me when people understand animals.
What a legend, a clip of him was showed last sunday in a Dutch televisionshow from the movie The Square.
1:23 You just KNOW this dude LOVES his job.
Wow, this level of understanding is art in itself.
Terry Notary is amazing, an amazing talent!
What a great, short and simple video. Mimicing things like this is hard.
simply amazing. he becomes the animals. masterful!
I wonder what a person would think if he saw him do that outside the area doing that. That would awesome since he's good at it.

That backdrop!! Also..They just mullered the fourth movie. The trailer had to gosh heckin cheek to call it the best in the franchise. woah!

Amazing physical acting.
Very impressive ape movements!
Love Terry Notary! Great as Rocket and great as stunt coordinator!
100% want to work with this guy. Brilliant.
He is extraordinary! I found out about him from The Square. He really becomes those animals.
I loved his appearance in The Square really destabilizing
The guy is such a professional!
1:20 When someone says the pizza has arrived.
He is good at this :D
This is simply BRILLIANT !!! Thanks !
Any doubts that were related to monke just watch this guy.
His body language is on point to mimic different apes. The muscles flow smoothly
All this things bringing quality to the movies
This is so good. Great VID and Reference. Nice.
Wonder if the people who were passing by thought the guy had some advanced, new type of crutches.
I can imagine some kid at 1:23 hearing that and saying "mommy, can we go see the apes". Then she has to break the news that it's just some guy
that was so cool. can't wait to see a movie...........finally. it looks GREAT.
i just love that if he isn’t speaking he is in full monkey mode
This is exactly how I move around the house to let my dogs know "I'm in charge".
I learned something from this. Impressive behavioural skills
Superb job. Really. Explained really well and great demonstration. This is Hollywood.
You can’t also believe he also played kong in the monsterverse and cull obsidian in avengers infinity war and endgame
This was amazing!
I'm amazed!
Amazing skill and abilities 💪
Acting like an animal for a movie, that would be a dream job for me.
It's insane how they managed to convince us Terry isn't just a talking gorilla.
"All right, I'll do it, but my heart won't be in it."
sound effects are the best
Even the facial expressions are on point
I need to come back and watch this when im not this stoned 😂
