the audio makes it a real strain do grasp what he’s saying because I’m sooo focused on trying to isolate the individual words from the echoing.

@@alanguy58 Well done -- though sending them a note privately through the business address they usually list in the back pages of their KZread sites is probably better style. It is outrageous that the cheapness of the Internet has given people tacit permission to clutter up our lives with half-made videos. It is plumb crazy that the 21st century's Great Innovation in Pedagogy is the mass production of video of the backs of teechers' heads as they scribble on greenboards and whiteboards. (These are innovations which allow the fools to believe they aren't scraping their fingernails on the blackboards of our time and attention. No, a colored marker on a whiteboard is not an advance on a chalkboard if you're still making us sit and watch you write the prep for your speech.) Audio is difficult. If you can't do audio you're not competent to make a KZread -- and what you have produced is not publishable. Congratulations to Terry Bristol for realizing this and trying to make up for his sins through the hard work of writing up the transcript. Keep on protesting, please, Alan, and meanwhile, well done!
