It baffles me that these artists always start out under the label as Christian artist but then drift off to the other side. Why not just start off as a regular artist and make the kind of music you want to make? One reason is because it's hard trying to make it as a artist in the music industry, so they have to find an alternative way to get in.

Good for her making popular music. I would also hope for so much more focus on God, on Jesus, and less on ourselves and the temporary things of this earth

People want to hear the love for Jesus, they need to hear why you love him so much… I think that’s what attracts people to Christ through the music. It’s like.. wow, I just listened to a love song about a man (Jesus) that this person has never met in the flesh. I appreciate all categories of gospel, they have a purpose for all people in different life stages ❤

I’m always stunned that within the Christian KZreadrs space there’s less ministering than criticism and journalism. I sincerely wonder if that is effective at changing any lives for Christ.

My vision for writing music has been I want to make music that draws myself and those listening into the presence of God, I think that is what it should be all about.
