Terence Crawford On Beating Spence, Tank Davis, Eminem, Being Blackballed + Next Fight

Ойын-сауық

Over the weekend, Terrance Crawford faced off against Errol Spence in a decisive win for the Undisputed Welterweight Championship.
"Bud" discussed his post fight meal, walks us through Saturday's blockbuster fight, his journey to this moment, how he was able to get Eminem to walk out to the ring with him, and more.
The Omaha, Nebraska native also discussed who he wanted his next fight to be against, whether we would see him face off against Tank Davis, does he think the Jermell Charlo fight would happen, and when his automatic rematch clause against Spence would mean another fight between the two before the end of the year.

@@Mrespn84 There was a rematch clause in the Spence/Crawford contract, but Crawford might fight Tim Tszyu if Spence changes his mind about the rematch. It would be the biggest fight for Crawford at 154lbs. Jermell Charlo won't come back down to 154lbs after Canelo because it will be too big a drop in weight It all depends on Spence.

💯 In 30+ years that I’ve been heavily following this sport, I haven’t seen a fighter like this man. Complete package. The only tink in his armor that I’ve seen is his defense because he does get hit more so than Floyd would. But his solid chin makes up for it and his defense is his counterattack because when you try to rush him after stunning him he can drop you on the backfoot! Amazing! This man is truly a one of a kind.

That Eminem story really made me smile. I’m so happy for Bud. I remember watching the Gamboa fight and thinking “this guy is going to be a superstar”. Took a while but the world has finally seen Bud. I feel sad about him being blackballed all these years. Deprived boxing fans from some really epic showdowns. At least he got to paint his magnum opus. Shout out to Spence for being a man inside and outside the ring. Respect and love always. Hopes he gets healthy and does his thing (hopefully not against Bud cos that is a foregone conclusion). I am convinced he will be back.
