I started archery 4 months ago knowing nothing, self taught. 2 months ago I discovered Your videos & have improved 6 fold. Thank You so much Armin Hirmer You changed My life thru your teaching. I now shoot at least 200 arrows a day & hit tennis balls from 30 yards. I watch your videos until my desire to shoot arrows compells me to my backyard.

Excellent video, methodical, thorough, very easy to understand and honest no-nonsense review. From Malaysia here and like many others, I am surprised Malaysia do produce bows nowadays. Glad to see you like the bow.
200 fps... impressive Malaysian bow...
Wow..I don't know there's such bow maker in my country. With that price range and positive review from you, I don't have to look farther to buy one. Thank you so much Mr. Armin, you don't know how much it'd been very helpful to me.
Great video sir. Thx for reviewing our bow. Peace from Malaysia
These videos have almost convinced me to look into the "Horse" style of bows. My knowledge on them is non-existent, but your videos have peaked my interest in these styles of bows!
Always an excellent, thorough and unbiased review. Thanks, Armin.
Well so far I'm very impressed with this bowyer. He has been very responsive to all of my inquiries. I placed my order on Jun 7th and the bow was completed and shipped on the 14th. Lets see how long it takes to get to the US. Hope it arrives undamaged.

Ok so my Teratai Box from Zak arrived in Australia today and I am so happy. My bow is gorgeous and so well made that it will not be out of place in any collection. The packaging was insane, the sleeve is beautiful and even has my name branded into the bow. I am using this 50lb at 28 bow to hunt so Zak even coloured the front green so the deer will not see me coming.
I've been watching your videos for about 6 months now. Love your work and you have taught me a lot. I'm native (Sioux) and had to teach myself how to shoot etc. Then came across your videos and with eastern shooting you've totally upgraded my shooting experience. I shoot Mediterranean on the left side once in a blue moon now just for kicks but stick with forward sideways khatra. Wicked awesome man props to u for being so awesome.

Thanks for the review, Armin. I was surprised at the increase from 39lbs at 28" to 49lbs at 31", I thought you'd say it stacked a lot there, but at the end it sounded as if you felt it started before 28". I'm thinking however it's a good bow when you group arrows like that straight away, and the speed was impressive!
Arrows seems time warping and popping out of target! No need for heavy draw weight bows to attain such speed. It sure got you excited again! Maraming Salamat for the excitement!
Aye, that looks to be a great bow in that price bracket, super performance and smart looking. As you said, a couple of wee inlays would just finish it off a treat too.

Good looking bow.
Hermosooooo!!!
Hello Armin. Quick maybe-offtopic question regarding nocking the arrows. Sometimes i see you nocking the arrows with one of the feathers pointing towards the handle of the bow instead of pointing away from the handle. Does this not matter that much on thumbrelease (if yes, why?) or is it more of a mishap due to your frequent switch between draw styles? On olympic target archery i know its supposed to point away from the riser but i am new to thumbrelease-horsebow archery (and very very much enjoying it!) and am still learning and improving. With best regards, Lorenz
@ArminHirmer
5 жыл бұрын
For me it does not matter. When you shoot Olympic with plastic vanes and fiddly arrow rests, then yes
You, sir do the best bow reviews 😁
Working with hazel at the moment, and its like a space rocket. Keep the front curved without blemishing the natural grain, and you can go pretty thin. The whole bow after drying weights about 500g. It can draw to about 10-14 pounds. I dont want to test it over that, but its enough to kill a rabbit stone dead. Furthest shot is about 150 meters, after dipping in the stream. I made it for my kid. I want to make some tin can arrowheads next to improve the flight path. Any ideas?
Silent, nice..
I’m having trouble finding his profile. I’m logged onto Facebook on my phone and cross referenced his name and it’s not showing up. Through KZread, the profile link makes you log in again and that isn’t working for me. I tried to find the web site through a google search and that didn’t work. Sent an email so now just waiting.
Almost nothing; silent. Great!

I think the same poundage will be good, with a cheap and well made bow. You have to fell and construct your form before you could increase draw weight : step by step is the good way to avoid injuries et bad forms. :)
