Djokovic soon to move above Federer i am certain! Whether he'll top this chart by moving ahead of Connors or not remains an open conversation though, depending on several factors...such as further career longevity and average success rates...which means how much longer he can keep going winning 4-5 titles per season (please not that last season, when he won 7 titles was sole exception and rare anomaly compared to the previous five, when wouldn't win more than 4 or 5 titles...), i'm pretty sure he'll get past Federer at some point, i am just uncertain he can win 12 more of them, seems like a lot with his most recent reduced schedule and decreased strike rate...

But how many more seasons he will play should also be factored in...because if he'll keep his word and play until Olympics in LA in 2028, then it's plenty of opportunities to squeeze past number 109...but if we are looking at just a couple of seasons more (the end of 2026 latest!), then this might not be enough to do the job...we'll see soon enough!

@@Summon256 -- Currently, Djokovic's biggest goal is to win the Olympics Gold Medal in Singles Tennis this Summer at the 2024 Paris Olympics. -- If he wins that and does not win another Grand Slam this year he may well call it quits. -- He has played in only 5 tournaments this year and that includes the current Rome Masters!

I'm sorry, but this list is so wrong! 8 men missing (E.Dibbs, N.Davydenko, R.Ramirez, B.Gilbert, T,Engqvist, M. Rios, A.Corretja). Grand Slam Titels sometimes counted for singles alone, sometimes doubles titles were also counted. I love lists. But only if there are correct.

The video is about the open era only, hence the Laver stats.

I think Djokovic will surpass Federer but can't over take Connors looking at his dip in form. He should have won Monte Carlo but didn't have the energy at his age.

Un milagro con solo 18 titulos y sin gran slam ganado haya ocupado el primer lugar x unos días.

I truly believe, Sampras would have been relatively even with the big three, if their careers matched up, in time. His style would have matched Fed perfectly, and would have given Nole and Nadal all they could handle. And Edberg vs them would have been so much fun too. He was terrific.

Who do you think you are deceiving. Jose Luis Clerc never won any Grand Slams, never even made any GS finals. And secondly, he's from Argentina and not Spain.

Understand but it would be useful to mention it. However I think a list such as this should include players and titles even before the Open Era. This way we miss Roy Emerson who is the only player with a Grand Slam in both singles and doubles

Marcelo Ríos no ganó un Grand slam porque en la final se encontró con un jugador drogado, que después de unos meses se confirmó su doping. Marcelo Ríos fue más grande que muchos los de esa lista.

In open era after 1968 only 5.Before 1968 Rod Laver won 6.Total 11 grand slams.200 titles if you count before 1968.He achieved two calendar grand slam which was not equalled till date.

didn't know Nadal is only one year older than Djokovic...if only Rafa was not so injuried during his career he would have been in the top for sure...one of the great strenght of Nole was also to stay healty most of his career! Also Rafa reached the top 50 when he was 16 so his pro career was less gradual - he skyrocketed early so a lot harsher on his body early.

The term GOAT or even implied did not exist at the time of Borg. This has only come in the last 10 years or so. In fact, back then top players didn't treat the slams as the be all or end all as some didn't play the Australian and some had to skip the French due to Team Tennis. They didn't know that many years later people would use slam count as the way to rate them historically.

Grand Slams only used to always be amateur only and went "paid professional" from when ATP Tour commenced in 1969 i think. So Laver and Rosewall won a bunch of Grand Slams before 1969, and usually not considered in many lists. T

You haven't given an accurate picture, because you haven't stated whether these are singles and/or doubles titles, particularly when you credit Grand Slam titles. For example, Harold Soloman and Cliff Richey, who did not win any Grand Slam titles in singles.
