I'm a Liverpool fan and Bob Paisley is a obviously legend, but the greatest achievement for me in European Cups is Brian Clough. How you take a team with no money in the second tier of English football to becoming champions of Europe twice in a row is remarkable . It will never be done again.

@@football_achievements Yep, Del Bosque never was a good coach, like Guardiola, he found himself with an astounding team in Real Madrid and Spanish Team, everyone knew he was just incompetent and only Besiktas offered him a contract, and it shows what happens when he actually had to coach. At least Guardiola is a decent coach with a silver tongue and coaching "unlimited money" clubs and that's why "Il capo Don Carlo" is and always will be the GOAT

@@football_achievements I´ll give you another one about Happel which nobody knows unless time witnesses of the Dutch Cup finals 1968. Happel actually invented the formation 4-3-3 BUT he used it just - 1 single time - in the Dutch Cup finals 1968 with his current Club Den Haag against Ajax which Den Haag then won due to that - at that time - totally surprising and unconventional formation, because everybody expected beforehand that Ajax would win the final like a walk in the park. So Happel wanted to surprise and confuse Ajax in order to avoid them to play "their regular game" so he chose that totally never before tried out formation of 4-3-3 which worked out perfectly in that particular Cup Final game beating the huge favorite Ajax totally unexpected 2:1. Manager of Ajax at that time was Rinus Michels who after that for Ajax shameful loss of the Dutch Cup 68 but obviously acknowlegding the "genius" of that formation started to implement - from that time on - the "new" 4-3-3 for Ajax which - what we all know - became their "Trademark formation" but which also created the worldwide common narrative that Michels was the inventor of 4-3-3.
