If we are going to knit pick, he did under throw the Smith TD and the long pass that AJ had to comeback for and luckily it was pass interference. But he has improved beyond measure throwing and most importantly, decision making. #FlyEaglesFly

Agreed, the year they won the SB it was kind of a miracle year, something out of a movie. It was all the more entertaining for it but if that exact scenario happened 9 more times I don't think they win any of them.

Jordan Davis Coming back is huge for this team. He's been our Run stopper, and with him on the Field we are a top 10 Run defense. With additions in Linval Joseph and Ndomakong Suh, we can keep him fresh. I love this team.

Our o line has deteriorated into nothing. This has been what Henry has looked like the past few weeks. Our o line lets guys through as soon as the ball is snapped. And the one solid o linemen we had left is out for the season.

True - but you have to look@ it another way as well? The level of expectation-perfection that AJ Brown brings to himself - is making the other players raise their own level of play. So when the other receivers & TE's gets 1 or 2 passes thrown in their direction - they'll want to make sure they catch it and hold on for dear life. Boo-yow!

Yep, this Eagles win (in combination with the Bengals winning last week on a similar strategy) means that any team that can effectively neutralize Henry can win the game. The Titans will still probably win the division because the other teams simply suck to varying degrees, but it won't be a pretty result. (Around .500 record, probably)

I've only been watching football for 20 something years but I've never saw a player progress so much in one off season. Hurts is a beast and he does it without committing turnovers. Just think about that. He's a running QB who can do both and has a few interceptions(some were off of the receivers) and a few fumbles. You can't ask for much more from your QB. If he was Trevor Lawrence producing these numbers instead of a 2nd rounder he'd be getting all of the press right now. He's the NFC player back to back weeks. As of writing this there's still games to be played but it's very hard to imagine that someone else will have a better game.

I was also worried about the Titan's until I saw the stat that they were 1-4 against teams over .500. All you had to do was stop the run a couple of series an put them down by two scores than they'll have to depend on Tan's arm without the threat of play action instead of Henry's legs...easy victory.

I think if he did not get hurt in the Pittsburgh game, Eagles would still be playing for a perfect record

After Hurts rushed for 158 yards last week vs. the Packers, I heard several callers on WIP and The Fanatic still saying that Hurts was not a franchise QB. When asked why, some of those callers said that they wanted a gunslinger back there like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees. Mind you, none of those three Hall of Fame QBs are mobile quarterbacks. This week, Hurts only rushed for 12 yards but threw for 380 yards. I want those same callers to call in this week and admit that Hurts is a good passing QB. Hurts now has 20 TDs and only 3 INTs, to go along with his 8 rushing TDs. What more does this guy need to do to get some respect? It reminds me of the lack of respect that Joel Embiid faces too. Embiid is a monster both offensively and defensively yet he seems to get no respect. Is it a "Philadelphia" thing?

Eh, pay no mind to those clowns. In fact, Jalen's mobility helped secure like 3 wins. The big one was obviously against Greenbay. Jalen is a perfect QB if he can adjust his accuracy just a little more. Dude can squat more than 600lbs. He's hard to take down and with QB rules? Pshhhh

As a Ravens fan, while I'm happy for Hurts, it makes me salty as hell to see how his organization has put all these weapons around him and Lamar has practice squad recievers.

been wild watching hurts' career going from 1st-string Alabama qb to being benched in the championship and finally his redemption arc in the same fashion a year later. he and tagovailoa probably wouldn't be the qb's that they are today without that crazy saga. will be insane when we inevitably see them face off in the superbowl someday, like bird vs magic.

When we had the wentz hurts controversy I was in the “I have no idea” camp. Hurts looked like he had potential but wasn’t playing well - Wentz just looked bad so I thought we should just do something and pray.

@@JLA203 what about that 4th and inches. Refs get tired of throwing flag on their o line? Or how hurts can underthrow a pass by 10 yards and still receive a dpi? Eagles had 2 clean scoring drives. Other drives were bailouts by refs

As a niners fan this was a good game. The eagles did a good job today. Hurts is getting better as a qb and the eagles have weapons as well. I would love to see niners vs eagles match up in this year's playoffs but it probably won't happen. Because the run defense had been atrocious. No one predicted the “bend don’t break” would come to the commanders. Thanks to them however the Eagles have titan up.

Two things. One, the pass to A. J. Brown for his second touchdown was one of the best passes I've ever seen. Second, I don't know if it's just me, but I think that if Jalen Hurts can keep up this pace, he will win NFL MVP.
