    These holsters are by far the most comfortable and best holsters on the market. I’m somewhat addicted to buying holsters, lol and have every big name on the market. T1C, JMCK, Dark Star, HH and many others. While they are all good holsters, the conceal-ability and comfort is second to none with Tenicor. Lastly, they are one of the only manufactures who make it super easy to adjust the clips, the little channels they make for the nuts to adjust/change screws make it so easy. So tired of holster manufactures who make it so difficult to change out different clips. They are really one of the few who pay attention to the details to make such a better holster than anyone else. Their light bearing holsters are the best, every other one is a huge holster in your pants that is never very comfortable, theirs is like a minimalist holster, you don’t even realize it has the light.

    If choosing the Certum3 might as well go for the G48 instead of the G43x since the shorter concealability of the 43x makes no difference here since the holster is G48 length anyways.

    I know this is an older video but I have a question. I usually CCW a minimal OWB holster and am wanting to switch to IWB. Neither of my 2 current holsters have put any noticeable finish wear on either of my carry pistols. Though I know they’re only tools, I’d like a holster that keeps them as nice as my current ones and have heard how bad some holsters can wear finishes. Do these have a loose tension except for trigger guard, unlike some which grip the whole slide etc., and cause less wear by comparison?

    Why wouldn’t a hip carry use a camming bar? If anything they need it more due to how hard it is to not print at 4. Does a camming bar work better than a claw?

  • @tenicorusa

    @tenicorusa

    2 жыл бұрын

    With hip carry, concealment of the grip is most effectively accomplished by the forward cant of the gun which also aligns the grip with the wrist. Once could certainly use the camming bar if they choose to, but since the gun is on the side of the body instead of the front, it doesn't add value for most people. Some people prefer a wing or a claw, but we prefer the lower profile more durable design of the camming bar. Take care.

    @@tenicorusa there aren't plenty of holsters with the other features that the Velo4 has. It would be nice if the option for a claw was there. I could mount one if it weren't for the wonky proprietary staggered clip screw setup that you needlessly used. The camming bar just isn't aggressive enough and needs to sit out farther. I bet you would sell more holsters if you went with industry standard mounting points and allowed for claw attachment. The main selling feature is the wedge, but I'll bet the rest is a turnoff with many people. And dicking with different foams trying to make my own wedge on another holster doesn't sound like how I want to spend my time and money.
